future for generations to come.\nWhy This Role Matters (Purpose):\nTo perform logistics, stockholding, planning and other duties to meet the criteria as set by the Company concerning the day-to-day operations of the business in terms of Logistics and Supply Chain as well as procurement planning and stock forecasting.\nWhat You Will Be Responsible For:\nManage and coordinate the facilitating daily toolbox talks\nManage and coordinate site inductions as per company procedure.\nManage and coordinate quality, correctness and collection of Weighbridge Tickets and process for the Main Office.\nLiaising with WFS or other appointed clearing agent regarding documentation.\nLiaising with Shipping Lines for return of Empty Containers.\nLiaising with Transporter for Containers to be brought to Protea and Empties returned.\nLiaising with forklift service provider for forklifts.\nEnsuring all documentation regarding shipments are complete and kept up to date.\nManage and coordinate loading of chemicals on trucks and bulk tanker loading.\nManage and coordinate collection and verification of all documentation for processing at administration Office.\nCompile Quality Reports for incoming and outgoing consignment, supported by supervisors.\nLiaise and coordinate with Customs to release containers and check for destuffing.\nLiaise and coordinate with Customs for permission to load export trucks.\nLiaise and coordinate with Customs on Completion of loading to verify and seal export trucks.\nManage and verify the Ex-Warehouse Control Sheet signed off by Customs on completion.\nManage and coordinate the collection of photos of Destuffing Containers and Loading trucks together with Quality Report for Consignment Dispatch and Incoming Consignment reports.\nLiaising with BME Metallurgy Namibia representative at customer mine site regarding stock levels at the customer and product delivery plan for the day, week and month.\nSupervising employees and service providers at the Port Hub facility to be productive at all times.\nMange and coordinate periodical stock taking as per stock control requirements and procedures.\nPartaking in the review of company risk assessment, SOP's, work instructions and forms, and incident investigations.\nAdhering to and performing SHEQ related duties and responsibilities.\nFacilitating basic awareness sessions from time to time.\nEnsure General cleaning and maintenance of the Operational site and equipment are up to standard.\nEmergency response duties for chemicals spills (whether on-site or en route transport)\nSupport supervisors in overseeing all daily operational activities according to instructions from line managers and company procedures.\nManaging warehouse operators, general workers, supervisors and contractors in terms of daily activities.\nManaging warehouse operators, general workers, supervisors and contractors in terms of adhering to safe operating procedures and work instructions.\nEnsure operational equipment, weighbridge and other scales are well maintained and certifications in place.\nManage and coordinate the GRN of incoming consignments\nManage and coordinate administration and paperwork relating to receiving and dispatching of stock and managing of stock control and bonded warehouse control.\nManage and coordinate the updating of Receiving and Dispatch Ledger with Computer Records\nEnsure compliance in terms of quality control and good traceability in adherence with operating procedures.\nManage and coordinate the updating of PPE associated forms\nManage and coordinate pre-use checks of machinery, mobile lifting equipment and transporter vehicles are conducted prior to activity.\nEnsure competency of employees and contractors by performing monthly Planned Task Observations.\nManage and coordinate shift planning, leave planning and overtime management of Supervisors, Operators and Manage and coordinate taking retention samples and submission to Quality Assurance Manager.\nAdherence to and execution of current and new procedures / work instructions as it may be amended or implemented from time to time, manage and coordinate reviews and updates.\nPartaking in the review of company risk assessment, SOP's, work instructions and forms, and incident investigations\n\nWhat You Will Bring:\nQualifications:\nGrade 12 or equivalent\nDiploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Administration, Operations or planning will be an advantage\nExperience:\n5 years of experience as a Senior Supervisor or similar\n\nKey Competencies:\nKnowledge of production processes \nStrong Planning and Administration of stock control and bonded warehouses\nAble to arrange and organize all support functions, supply raw materials & PPE to team members\nTraining of employees. \nCommunicate production plan \nManagement of SHEQ, housekeeping and waste management \nTimeous reporting and correction of equipment and quality failures
