important to operational performance and strategic outcomes, deployment/roll-out of new technology and/or software.\nThese projects typically operate in environments where:\nAccountability is diffused or unclear.\nTeams are delivery-capable but not naturally goal-driven.\nStrong functional leadership is inconsistent or absent.\nProgress depends on influence, structure, and follow-through rather than authority.\nThe role exists to create momentum, clarity, and ownership where it does not naturally exist, ensuring projects move from intent to execution and deliver tangible outcomes.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nProject Delivery & Execution\nTake full accountability for end-to-end delivery of assigned BME projects, from initiation through to closure.\nConvert broad or poorly defined objectives into clear scope, milestones, deliverables, and success measures.\nEstablish realistic project plans, governance rhythms, and reporting that support delivery rather than bureaucracy.\nActively manage risks, dependencies, and constraints in environments with limited escalation paths.\nEnsure projects achieve practical business outcomes, not just task completion.\nWorking in Low-Ownership Environments\nOperate effectively in teams that are not naturally goal-orientated or delivery-driven.\nProactively create clarity around roles, expectations, and ownership without relying on positional authority.\nIdentify gaps in accountability and close them through facilitation, structure, and persistence.\nCoach and support team members to move from passive participation to active ownership.\nMaintain progress and delivery discipline even when teams lack strong internal leadership.\nStakeholder & Communication Management\nAct as the central point of coordination and communication for assigned projects.\nProvide clear, concise, and honest updates on progress, risks, and decisions required.\nManage expectations effectively in environments where priorities frequently shift.\nEscalate issues constructively, with solutions and options rather than problems alone.\nCross-Functional & Cross-Team Leadership\nLead delivery across multiple functions, teams, and stakeholders with differing priorities and incentives.\nBuild working relationships across BME and adjacent functions to enable cooperation and decision-making.\nNavigate organisational complexity and ambiguity with a pragmatic, solution-focused approach.\nAlign stakeholders around shared outcomes where formal alignment mechanisms are weak or absent.\nDelivery Discipline & Continuous Improvement\nIntroduce fit-for-purpose delivery practices appropriate to the scale and complexity of each project.\nEnsure lessons learned are captured and applied to future work.\nMaintain a strong bias toward action, progress, and outcomes over process for its own sake.\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nQualifications\n Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field\nDemonstrated practical experience will be weighted more heavily than certification\nCertifications\nFormal Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is advantageous but not mandatory\nExperience\nExtensive experience managing projects in complex, ambiguous organisational environments\nProven ability to deliver where teams lack maturity in ownership, accountability, or goal orientation\nStrong influencing skills, with the ability to lead without formal authority\nHigh emotional intelligence and resilience when dealing with resistance, inertia, or ambiguity\nPractical, hands-on delivery capability rather than reliance on formal methodologies alone\nConfidence working across multiple functions where leadership strength varies significantly\nAdvantageous\nModern digital or technology-enabled transformation initiatives\nProcess improvement or operational change projects\nWorking alongside IT, data, or digital teams in delivery environments\nUnderstanding of maintenance-, asset management processes within the mining sector would be advantageous.\nKey Competencies\nBusiness Process maps, process interactions and dependencies, etc.\nIT processes\nA more detailed understanding of D365 workflows, datasets and other capabilities, is beneficial to the role.\nStrong stakeholder management capability.\nWorking with
