Deliver advanced technical guidance on blasting and mine optimisation through the effective use of specialised technologies, including drones, 3GSM, and face-profiling software. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in blast monitoring techniques, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. A thorough knowledge of blast engineering principles is essential.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nProvide technical support and advice to the operations and clients about the implementation of, training on, blasts.\nEffective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management.\nMust be able to build and maintain good internal and external customer relationships.\nMust be willing to perform any physical work in the field related to the usage of the monitoring equipment and analyse the performance thereof.\nHighly motivated self-started with unquestionable high levels of integrity.\nA strong desire to learn and progress in the field blasting technology\nMonthly reporting to Line Management on activates conducted during the month\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\nQualifications\nGrade 12 with blasting ticket and 6 years of blasting experience\nMining Engineering Degree with 2 years' experience\nMs Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email) (Advantageous)\nTertiary qualification in mining (Advantageous)\nExperience\nElectronic experience is essential.\nUnderstanding and experience in the use of detonator systems.\nUnderstanding of and practical experience in surface mining and surface blasting.\nUnderstanding of and the practical experience in blast performance and measuring equipment\nKey Competencies\nBusiness Acumen\nConflict Management\nCustomer Focus\nTimely Decision Making\nDeveloping Direct Reports and Others\nFunctional Technical Skills\nInnovation Management\nMeeting Deadlines\nMotivating Others\nProblem Solving\nDrive for Results \nDIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION\nA diverse team drives stronger outcomes.
