We are looking for a best-in-class Technical Project Manager (TPM) who will manage complex programs through the development and/or operational processes at Omnicell. This position requires a solid understanding of program requirements as well as the technologies used in the program. Scope of responsibilities range from focused projects to multi-dimensional programs involving multiple disciplines and cross-functions\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Technical Project Manager, you will:\nIdentify and secure commitment from teams across the company for new initiatives, drive consensus on the technical approach, set timelines, and lead cross-functional development teams from design through delivery.\nDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts.\nIdentify technical, regulatory, and supply chain risks early and implement mitigation plans. Develop a recovery plan, and communicate the plan to all stakeholders.\nEnsure outstanding communication across teams; manage actionable information up to Engineering SLT.\nEnsure alignment with product strategy, regulatory requirements, and business outcomes.\nOversee hardware design reviews, prototype builds (EVT), DVT/PVT activities, and test strategy.\nSupport reliability testing, design for manufacturability (DFM), and design for test (DFT).\nWho You Are\nStrong business cross-functional skill set, very familiar with hardware and software development life cycle (HDLC and SDLC).\nExcellent communication skills, coupled with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, including executive level.\nStrong understanding of hardware product development lifecycle (concept → EVT → DVT → PVT → launch).\nDemonstrated success at public speaking and detailed report writing.\nTeam Player and Self Starter; Drives teams and self to meet commitments in order to achieve success; Accountable for results.\nAdept at creating effective presentations, visuals and outputs.\nPossesses strong business acumen.\nExperience in budget tracking.\nTrack record in creating technical specifications by analyzing requirements and digesting product management needs.\nAbility to deal with ambiguity and can digest complex problems. Experience in articulating possible paths forward with pro(s) and con(s).\nFamiliarity with Product Operating Model (POM).\nDeep background with Agile Iterative development process.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline, finance or business.\n5+ years of Technical Program Management experience.\n10+ years in project / program / development / product management.\nStrong background in Agile development process.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMasters preferred.\nProject Management certification or certificate (PMP, PgMP, CPM, DAU, etc.).\nHow You’ll Elevate at Omnicell\nAt Omnicell, success is defined not only by results, but by how those results are achieved.
