This role plays a critical part in maintaining production schedules, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The Thermoformer Operator partners closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations teams to drive operational excellence and support customer needs.\nWhat You'll Do\nPrimary Impact\nEnsure safe, efficient, and compliant thermoforming operations that deliver high-quality products on time while supporting continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nSet up thermoforming equipment using approved tooling, recipes, and production specifications.\nOperate and monitor production equipment to achieve quality, safety, and productivity objectives.\nIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve machine, process, and product quality issues through mechanical and process adjustments.\nLead equipment changeovers and support efficient startup and validation activities.\nGuide and support Assistant Operators while promoting adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards.\nConduct in-process inspections and verify products meet quality specifications.\nMaintain accurate production documentation and daily operational reporting.\nSupport production schedules by minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment performance.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready manufacturing environment.\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives including 5S, ISO, GMP, SMED, Sustainability, and Preventive Maintenance programs.\nFollow all safety procedures and promptly report unsafe conditions or incidents.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWho You Are\nRequired Knowledge & Skills\nExperience operating and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment in a production environment.\nUnderstanding of machine setup, changeovers, and process control principles.\nAbility to read and follow production schedules, work instructions, and job documentation.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.\nAbility to inspect materials and finished product for defects and quality concerns.\nAbility to identify variations in color, shade, and material appearance.\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.\nAbility to safely handle materials and perform physical manufacturing activities in a fast-paced setting.\nExperience using basic computer systems and production reporting tools.\nBasic Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nMinimum of 2 years of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to work assigned shift schedule, including overtime as needed.\nAbility to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance as required.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with rigid plastic manufacturing processes.\nExperience operating thermoforming equipment.\nWorking knowledge of Kiefel and Zed thermoformers.\nExperience supporting Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement initiatives.\nWork Environment\nManufacturing environment with noise levels that may require hearing protection.\nExposure to industrial chemicals and manufacturing materials.\nFrequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing.\nRegular material handling activities, including moving heavy rolls and skids using approved equipment.\nRequired use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, safety footwear, and other PPE as required.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3806,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":2,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"high_school","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":[],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-11T15:59:07Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 11 · green card filings: 21","filings_12m":11,"filings_prev_12m":29,"green_card_filings_12m":21,"median_offered_wage_usd":140938,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-03T21:08:04+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)","US Department of Labor: PERM disclosure data (green cards)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0},{"country":"GB","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"Licensed UK visa sponsor (Senior or Specialist Worker, Skilled Worker)","filings_12m":null,"filings_prev_12m":null,"green_card_filings_12m":null,"median_offered_wage_usd":null,"route":"Global Business Mobility: Senior or Specialist Worker;
