Clear writing and communication skills are also key - this role includes contributing to tactical plans for product news moments such as announcements of new features and software updates, along with crafting highly targeted, proactive pitches. Additionally, we are looking for candidates who embrace modern PR workflows, utilizing the latest AI tools to optimize media research, drafting, and outreach.\nPositions are available in California, Texas, Maryland, Virginia, Michigan, Massachusetts, New York, and Washington, D.C. This includes drafting pitches and compiling media lists.\nSupport the client with your developing understanding of the consumer tech media landscape.\nSmartly and effectively leverage generative AI and PR technology tools to streamline workflows, enhance media research, and assist in drafting compelling communications and pitch materials.\nQualifications\nMust-haves:\n1-2 years of experience in PR for consumer brands.\nA love for media and the consumer tech industry; growing relationships with consumer tech reporters is preferred.\nMust possess highly effective media relations skills, with an emphasis on proactive pitching and securing top-tier placements.\nStrong writing skills and ability to communicate effectively.\nFamiliarity with modern AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude, AI-powered media databases) and an eagerness to apply them to PR workflows for increased efficiency.\nA go-getter mindset & attitude - not afraid to pitch, secure new media contacts, and build relationships.\nExcellent verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas and information clearly.\nCollaborative attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive and excel in a challenging fast-paced environment.\nAbility to work cross-functionally across different teams throughout the agency.\nNice-to-haves:\nAgency experience.\nExperience working across a range of consumer tech products.\nExperience supporting product reviews programs.\nExperience with consumer subscription services.\nExperience with end-to-end earned and/or paid creator campaigns.\n\nThe anticipated salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000. Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits are also available.\nOmnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
