Job Description:

Critical Mass is looking for a bright, curious and detail-focused Data Selections Analyst to join our growing team in London.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in data selection, processing or direct marketing who wants to develop their career within an agency environment. You’ll work as part of a specialist Data Selections team, sitting at the intersection of Marketing, Data Planning, Analytics and Operations and supporting campaigns for a large, high-profile client.

The role offers exposure to complex datasets, campaign targeting and selection, data quality and analysis, as well as opportunities to get involved in new tools, technologies and project work.

What you'll be doing

You’ll play an important role in the end-to-end delivery of campaign selections, ensuring data is accurate, compliant and delivered on time.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with Client Leadership and delivery teams to understand project briefs and translate requirements into clear data specifications.
  • Creating data briefs and working with Data Planners to implement campaign targeting and test plans.
  • Selecting and processing data for multi-channel campaigns, including direct mail, email, SMS and other customer communications.
  • Working with large and complex datasets while maintaining a high level of data accuracy and integrity.
  • Carrying out data quality checks, campaign counts and queries throughout the production process.
  • Performing quality assurance checks on your own work and reviewing selections produced by colleagues.
  • Supporting campaign development through ad hoc analysis and data queries.
  • Producing regular reports and completing day-to-day data administration.
  • Using data and analytical tools to respond to customer queries and information requests.
  • Getting involved in project work, process improvements and opportunities to introduce new tools and technologies.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is naturally curious about data, enjoys solving problems and takes pride in getting the detail right.

You'll ideally have:

  • At least 2 years' experience in data selection, data processing or a similar data-focused role.
  • Experience working with large or complex datasets.
  • An understanding of direct marketing and campaign targeting.
  • Experience using a CRM, campaign management or similar data application. Experience with Siebel would be beneficial, but full training will be provided.
  • SQL experience would be useful, but isn't essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
  • The ability to interpret data, identify issues and explain findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage deadlines in a busy environment.
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to work with colleagues across different teams.
  • A willingness to learn new systems, tools and ways of working.

Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.

Omnicom is committed to hiring and developing exceptional talent. We agree that talent is uniquely distributed, and we’re focused on developing inclusive teams that can bring the best solutions to everything we do. We strongly believe that celebrating what makes us different makes us better together. Join us-we look forward to getting to know you.
