from discovery and requirements mapping to delivery, QA, adoption, and user training.\nGuide teams on best practices for semantic models, reporting layer design, and automation.\nCollaborate with Data SMEs to ensure compliance with data standards, governance policies, audit practices, and quality frameworks.\nEnsure robust monitoring is in place across dashboards, and automated reports, with processes to detect and resolve data quality issues.\nDrive innovation and the roadmap for data products, exploring opportunities in automation, AI-assisted analytics, and emerging technologies\nTeam Leadership & Development\nMentor and develop junior and mid-level data team members, supporting their technical and professional growth.\nFoster a culture of data literacy, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement across MGOMD.\nSupport data culture initiatives and help elevate awareness of best practices across the wider business.\nDeliver training and upskilling sessions for both UK and India teams to ensure consistent capability and standards\nProvide formal line management, including performance reviews, progression planning, hiring, and resource allocation.\nCommercial & Out of Scope Projects\nLead scoping, estimation, and commercial modelling for data projects and SOWs.\nEnsure efficient utilisation and profitability across the data team and project portfolio.\nIdentify opportunities for growth through upsell, cross-sell, and proactive value-adding recommendations.\nPartner with account teams to drive commercial performance and help shape long-term client roadmaps.\nTechnical Proficiency\nStrong understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), data management principles and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).\nProven ability to collaborate effectively with data engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders.\n5+ years of experience building and managing BI dashboard projects (including model design, DAX, governance and adoption).\nExperience leading complex BI/analytics projects in medium-to-large organisations.\nMicrosoft Fabric experience is a significant bonus.\nManagement & Leadership Proficiency\nDemonstrated experience managing complex, multi-stream data projects end-to-end.\nFamiliarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and associated tools.\nExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into strategic business impact.\nExperience influencing senior stakeholders and driving cross-functional alignment.\nConfident in facilitating training, leading workshops, and presenting technical or strategic recommendations.\nCommercial & Business Acumen\nExperience scoping, estimating, and costing data or analytics projects.\nStrong commercial awareness, with the ability to manage budgets, drive profitability, and support revenue growth.\nExperience contributing to or owning Statements of Work (SOWs), commercial proposals, or client roadmaps.\nAbility to identify and articulate value-adding opportunities (upsell/cross-sell).\n\nTo the extent permissible by local law, Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.\nOmnicom is committed to hiring and developing exceptional talent.
