The Director focuses on improving operational effectiveness through governance, standardization, adoption of Workday functionality, data quality management, and process improvement initiatives.\nThe role supports business and system changes, acquisitions, divestitures, and ongoing enhancement activities while helping ensure regional requirements align with global standards and best practices.\nKey Responsibilities\nWorkday Governance, Integrity & Compliance\nPartner with global HR Systems and regional stakeholders to support alignment with Workday governance standards, policies, and priorities.\nSupport and oversee Workday governance, information integrity, stewardship, and compliance activities across the region.\nEstablish and monitor processes that improve data accuracy, consistency, reliability, and accountability across Workday and connected systems.\nEnsure compliance with GDPR, regional employment regulations, and internal governance requirements.\nPromote standardization and scalable solutions while supporting local business and regulatory requirements.\nMonitor key data quality and operational metrics and coordinate corrective actions when issues are identified.\nProcess Excellence & Continuous Improvement\nIdentify, prioritize, and support Workday optimization and continuous improvement opportunities across the region.\nEvaluate and implement enhancements to Workday capabilities, business processes, and governance practices, including automation and AI-enabled solutions where appropriate.\nPartner with stakeholders to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve end-to-end HR processes.\nSupport initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, user experience, controls, and information integrity.\nAnalyze recurring process and support issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable improvements.\nEstablish and share best practices to improve consistency and effectiveness across countries and business units.\nWorkday Operations, Enhancements & Change Initiatives\nPartner with global HR Systems teams to evaluate, prioritize, and deliver Workday enhancements and releases.\nCoordinate and support regional impact assessments, testing, deployment, adoption, and transition-to-support activities.\nAct as an escalation point for complex Workday issues involving business processes, integrations, security, reporting, and cross-functional dependencies.\nSupport Workday-related initiatives, including acquisitions, divestitures, country deployments, reorganizations, and other business change initiatives.\nEnsure configuration and process changes appropriately balance regional business requirements with global standards.\nOversee operational readiness activities and stakeholder engagement for significant Workday changes.\nLeadership & Stakeholder Partnership\nLead, coach, and develop a team focused on Workday governance, information integrity, and continuous improvement.\nBuild strong partnerships with HR, Payroll, Finance, Legal, IT, Shared Services, and business stakeholders.\nParticipate in governance forums and prioritization discussions to support operational and business needs.\nSupport the adoption of standardized processes and effective change management practices across the region.\nCommunicate risks, issues, priorities, and recommendations to stakeholders while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nFoster a service-oriented culture focused on operational excellence and effective stakeholder support.\nQualifications & Experience\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.\n8+ years of experience in HR Technology, HRIS, Workday, analytics, governance, or operational excellence.\n4+ years of leadership experience managing HR Systems teams and programs.\nAdvanced Workday expertise.\nExperience supporting multi-country HR operations within a complex multinational organization.\nStrong understanding of data governance, GDPR, privacy requirements, and regulatory compliance.\nExperience operating within a federated global organization balancing global standards with local regulatory requirements.\nStrong stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nDemonstrated flexibility to work across global time zones and support a geographically dispersed stakeholder community, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery of regional and global initiatives.\nPreferred\nWorkday certification(s) or advanced Workday training.\nExperience supporting Workday implementations, acquisitions, divestitures, and business change initiatives.\nKnowledge of HR process improvement methodologies and automation technologies.\nAdditional European language proficiency.\n\nOmnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
