The Distribution Manager is responsible for the proper handling, packaging and shipping of product to the customer. We strive to build a culture that rewards people for their unique perspectives and contributions, and where our people are connected - to the work we do, to each other, and to IMS.\nPrimary Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:\nAccount service - work with account teams and Client project managers to plan projects, communicate details, submit estimates if needed, and ensure our understanding of the project meets clients expectations.\nP&L responsibilities - aggressively manage monthly forecasts, monitor GP and tightly control expenses\nInventory management - aggressively manage process compliance in receiving, shipping and inventory control.\nProject management - develop and manage all aspects of a project by planning staff, space, and supplies.\nQuality assurance - key driver to guarantee quality meets or exceeds client’s requirements. \nOversee kit pack-out and distribution - work with the team to deliver accurate, efficient, on-time pack-out at or under budget.\nComply with ISO 9001:2008 procedures - reinforce & continually work to improve standards \nProject completion - oversee the close of a project which includes computer system work, facility clean-up, product put-away, and invoicing.\nStaffing - assist in staff hiring, training, development, motivation, and performance against measurement. 10 - 50 direct reports (includes contracted labor)\nSafety & OSHA - assure all employees follow Federal, State and OSHA requirements for safety and operations.\nSuccess of the above will be strongly dependent upon the following: \nBeing a good communicator, team player, able and willing to inspire a team climate.\nHaving a hands-on management style with all employees.\nPossessing strong project management and organizational skills.\nHaving strong knowledge of POS kit packing requirements.\nBeing pro-active in their thinking and planning; demonstrating the ability to think through issues, recognizing areas of potential concern or improvement and developing solutions.\nHaving the ability to professionally represent IMS in Client and vendor meetings.\nRelying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. \nLeading and directing the work of others. \nExperience/Qualifications:\nAssociate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience\nFamiliarity with excel and intermediate skills to include (Pivot tables, vlookup, formatting, and data organizing)\nMinimum of eight years of distribution and project management experience in the POP/POS industry.\nExperience starting up new clients & facilities, working with WMS & RF and having Six Sigma experience is a plus.\nIMS offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, and 401(k), a generous paid time off policy and more!\nIMS is an Equal Opportunity Employer\n\n80,000.00 - 85,000.00 Annually\nOmnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
