They partner with Studio Leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest level of quality. A Project Manager II proactively manages schedules, financial performance, staffing, consultant coordination, and client expectations while identifying opportunities to improve project outcomes.\nProject Leadership + Delivery:\nProactively guide multiple projects through the internal system, identifying risks early and developing contingency plans before issues impact schedule, budget, or scope. \nManage multiple concurrent projects while balancing competing priorities and maintaining exceptional client service. \nMaintain detailed project documentation and communicate project status, milestones, and risks to internal and external stakeholders. \nDrive schedule adherence across internal teams, clients, architects, engineers, consultants, vendors, and other project partners. \nFacilitate internal design reviews and cross-functional coordination. \nFinancial + Scope Management:\nMaintain organized project files, documentation, revisions, and updates. \nOwn the financial performance of assigned projects, including budgets, forecasting, vendor billing, expense tracking, profitability, and financial reporting. \nTrack project hours and utilization to ensure efficiency and recommend adjustments to maintain profitability. \nMonitor project scope throughout delivery and collaborate with Business Leadership to develop additional service requests, change orders, and fee adjustments when appropriate. \nResource + Team Coordination:\nUphold the confidentiality of our clients and FUTUREBRAND’s proprietary information. \nCoordinate and oversee staff resources, partnering with Studio Leadership and Resource Management to ensure projects are appropriately staffed. \nForecast upcoming resource needs and communicate staffing requirements to support current and future project planning. \nDevelop and maintain project matrices, schedules, specifications, quantities, finishes, and production information. \nManage vendor and consultant relationships to ensure deliverables are accurate, on schedule, and within budget. \nBusiness Development + Client Support:\nParticipate in business development efforts by supporting proposals, fee development, project scoping, and client presentations. \nAssist with product purchasing, retail site audits, and installation coordination as required. \nKnowledge + Skills\nExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. \nAbility to anticipate risks and develop proactive solutions. \nStrong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and resource planning. \nAbility to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. \nExperience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and external consultants. \nStrong client service mindset with excellent written and verbal communication. \nEducation + Experience\nBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or related field preferred. \n3-5 years of project management experience within a design consultancy, architecture/interior design firm, branding agency, retail design firm, or consumer products organization. \nExperience managing project budgets, schedules, consultant coordination, and multiple concurrent projects. \nExperience participating in proposals, fee development, or business development is preferred. \nExperience with project management, resource planning, and financial tracking software. \nEqual Employment Opportunity\nWe believe that ideas get better when they are inherently diverse and shared in highly inclusive ways, and we want to hear from those who think differently from us.
