The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiation, execution and maintenance of media campaigns for various clients, as well as assisting the Supervisor/Senior Manager in preparing all written documents (e.g. pre-buy, post buy, etc.). This role requires you to work as part of an integrated media investment team to ensure the product is grounded in insights and experience, resulting in flawless media executions.\nKey Responsibilities:\nNegotiate, execute and maintain television, radio and OOH campaigns for a portfolio of clients\nDeliver media campaigns that meet campaign objectives and client expectations daily\nUnderstand and recommend stations and programming that align with target audience\nOversee the preparation and presentation of campaign reports, campaign summaries, tracking of expenditures by supplier as required.\nProactively advise the team of any variations to execution of media plans.\nAssist in ensuring all billings are cleared and issued in a timely manner as needed.\nExecute all relevant revisions to the media buy as needed.\nPrepare reports for third party audits as required\nIdentify and communicate potential buying market conditions to peers.\nEnsure clear communication with the planning teams.\nAssist with training and mentoring of junior team members\nDevelop and maintain positive rapport with media partners.\nFoster relationships across agency partners, with a focus on client service.\nAttend media seminars and presentations as required.\nPerform other duties/ad hoc projects as assigned which are within the scope of this role\nQualifications and Key Attributes:\nPost-secondary education - University graduate and/or advertising/marketing College degree preferred.\nMinimum (3-4) years’ experience in media investment with 1-2 years’ in a buyer role.\nPrevious OOH experience is an asset.\nStrong negotiation skills.\nAbility to develop positive on-going business relationships (both internal & external) with a focus on client service.\nStrong learning agility, with a passion for continuous development.\nExcellent communication skills (both written and verbal).\nHighly developed organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.\nExcellent ability to manage and prioritize time.\nProactive approach to problem solving, supporting the team, self-development, etc.\nAbility to work collaboratively as well as independently.\nProficient with Mediaocean, Prisma, Radius and media research tools\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).\n\nSalary Range: $55,000 - $65,000\nTo the extent permissible by local law, Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.\nOmnicom is committed to hiring and developing exceptional talent.
