This role will serve as a strategic finance partner to business leaders, providing financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, profitability insights, and decision support across the organization.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling and analytical skills with an understanding of the economics of the advertising industry, including client profitability, headcount utilization, project-based revenue, retainers, and other client commercial arrangements.\nKey Responsibilities\nFinancial Planning & Analysis\nLead and support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.\nPrepare monthly and quarterly financial forecasts, including revenue, expenses, headcount, and profitability.\nAnalyze actual financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior-year results.\nIdentify key drivers of financial variances and provide clear, actionable insights to management.\nDevelop scenario and sensitivity analyses to support strategic business decisions.\nMaintain and enhance financial models used for forecasting, planning, and management reporting.\nClient & Commercial Finance\nAnalyze revenue, gross margin, and profitability by client, account, service line, and business unit.\nPartner with Client Services, Sales, Media, Operations, and other teams to evaluate the financial performance of client engagements.\nReview client scopes of work, staffing plans, pricing models, and commercial terms to assess profitability.\nMonitor client budgets, burn rates, staffing utilization, and potential scope or budget overruns.\nSupport pricing and financial modeling for new business opportunities, renewals, and RFPs.\nProvide recommendations to improve client and portfolio profitability.\nManagement Reporting & Business Insights\nPrepare recurring financial reporting packages, dashboards, and executive-level presentations.\nDevelop and monitor key performance indicators such as revenue growth, gross margin, EBITDA, utilization, billable hours, average billing rates, and client profitability.\nTranslate complex financial information into concise business insights for senior leadership.\nIdentify trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend actions to improve financial performance.\nSupport month-end and quarter-end financial reviews in partnership with Accounting.\nWorkforce & Resource Planning\nAnalyze headcount, compensation, freelance/contractor costs, and resource utilization.\nPartner with department leaders to forecast staffing requirements based on client demand and revenue expectations.\nEvaluate the financial impact of hiring, compensation changes, organizational restructuring, and resource allocation decisions.\nMonitor utilization and capacity across client-facing teams and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.\nStrategic & Ad Hoc Analysis\nBuild financial models to evaluate investments, new service offerings, technology initiatives, and other strategic opportunities.\nConduct scenario modeling and ROI analysis for business initiatives.\nSupport senior leadership with ad hoc financial and operational analyses.\nIdentify opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, automation, and scalability.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.\n4-7 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, commercial finance, corporate finance, or a related discipline.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including complex financial modeling.\nStrong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and profitability analysis.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.\nStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.\nExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\nPreferred\nExperience within an advertising agency, media agency, digital marketing, AdTech, MarTech, consulting, or professional-services environment.\nExperience analyzing client-level profitability, utilization, staffing, and project economics.\nFamiliarity with advertising and media revenue models, including retainers, project-based fees, commissions, media spend, and technology/platform fees.\nExperience with ERP, financial planning, or business intelligence platforms such as NetSuite, Workday Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.\nExperience with SQL, BigQuery, or other data-analysis tools is a plus.\n\n$95K - $105K\nOmnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.
