They are responsible for the oversight, leadership, assistance, and support of our pharma/medical device business teams in shepherding digital projects on assigned business units, from project initiation through completion. Senior Project Managers will have a team of direct reports, offering guidance and mentorship to Digital Project Managers. They will have oversight on daily responsibilities and tasks to keep their assigned business units running smoothly.\nJob Responsibilities:\nProject Management\nManage multiple projects and priorities on across assigned brands, being accountable for project results and drive decision-making along with brand leaders, direct report staff, and external stakeholders \nCreate detailed roadmaps and project plans, overseeing the day-to-day operation of a cross-functional team operating in a nimble and agile process \nOwn the full lifecycle of projects on assigned brands from initiation to through final submission \nPrioritize tasks, communicate deliverables, ensure the team stays on targets with budgets and deadlines and regularly communicate with senior leadership on the status of projects, escalating issues as needed \nWork with brand leaders and cross-functional team members, to holistically manage the delivery of assets across various platforms and navigate competing priorities, allocating project management resources appropriately, and effectively clearing roadblocks. \nEnsure status meetings, hot sheets, timelines, and meeting notes are prepared for all assigned projects and escalate to senior management as needed \nPeople Management\nOversee people management activities including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, weekly check-ins, goal setting, performance activities, and evaluations \nProvide mentorship and career development for assigned project managers, positioning team members to take on new opportunities and growth \nImprove effective resource utilization on the project management team, and drive reductions in project costs through forward planning, resource allocations, and coordination \nRelationship Management\nWork with the internal account and digital production brand counterparts to develop detailed and effective plans and monitor all aspects of project lifecycle, including scope, change and submission management \nCoordinate and inspire internal resources and external partners to deliver high quality, forward thinking, digital assets that align to client/brand goals \nRisk Management & Analysis\nAnalyze production workflows to find efficiency gaps and collaborate with project management peers and senior leadership to standardize workflows \nEnable rapid production decision-making through visibility into project data, including risk analysis and mitigation strategies, and cost avoidance opportunities \nOperations & Best Practices\nEvaluate new digital management technology as part of recommended operation solutions \nCreate and maintain visualization diagrams for existing and proposed workflows, process guides, and training materials \nReview plans and documents with brand leadership peers to secure sign off from senior leadership \nMinimum Requirements:\n5-10 years of experience in a project management role \nAbility to run large scale, complex projects \nExperience managing diverse projects include websites, iVAs, banners, and emails \nComfortable in a leadership position; the role will be client-facing \nExperience in managing project scope and profitability \nAdvanced proficiency with project management software such as Ziflow, Smartsheets, and Workfront \nExperience with Agile processes is a bonus \n#LI-CP2\n\n$75,500 - $120,500\nTo the extent permissible by local law, Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager.\nOmnicom is committed to hiring and developing exceptional talent.
