# Groundskeeper

Overview: Responsible for ensuring the resort grounds are well maintained and reflect an image of outstanding quality. The successful candidate must have a desire to learn entry level grounds maintenance job tasks as well as the skills to operate maintenance equipment properly. Previous experience is not required. Essential Functions: · Demonstrate preparation for day’s work by arriving in uniform and with a positive attitude. · Demonstrate the capability to function as a member of a team to accomplish established goals. · Carry out all grounds maintenance tasks with a sense of pride and ownership so as to adhere to established quality guidelines for daily operation. · Inspect all tools and equipment prior to, during and after use. Operate all equipment safely and with care and consideration of its value. Report any damage and or lack of performance to a supervisor. · Performs tasks common to the care of grounds and landscapes by seeding, watering, mulching. Mowing lawns with riding or push mowers; trimming and edging, shrubs, ground cover, flowers, sidewalks and buildings; weeding, thinning and cleaning flower beds and other grounds by hand or utilizing proper tools and equipment
