The candidate will inspect the cleaning and servicing of all rooms as well as log any repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms. The candidate will also ensure that all guest room attendants have appropriate linens and supplies.\nResponsibilities:\nAssign special projects as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.\nReport any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.\nEnsure that all Guest Room Attendants have appropriate supplies and linens.\nAssist in the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary.\nAssist in processing AM and PM room status reports.\nEnsure that the Guest Room Attendant’s linen cart is neat and well organized.\nEnsure that linen closets on guest room floors are completely stocked.\nMaintain supply cage stock, neat and clean at all times.\nMust have all guest rooms punched in via the phone after completion.\nEnsure VIP rooms are inspected ASAP.\nEnsure check out/vacated rooms are a priority.\nKnowledge of hotel, facilities and events.\nTo ensure hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment.\nInspect the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms and public areasEncourages and builds mutual trust, respect and cooperation among co-workers. Treats co-workers fairly and equitably.\nMaintain a professional, neat and organized appearance according to Omni Boston Seaport standards.\nRespond swiftly and effectively in any emergency or safety situations. Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury or accident.\nAttend all required department trainings and meetings.\nPerform any other duties required by management.\nQualifications:\nMust have at least 1 year of prior supervisory/Coordinating experience in Housekeeping.\nAbility to maintain 4-Diamond level cleanliness standards.\nAbility to work with management on special projects.\nExcellent customer service and verbal communication skills.\nMaintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.\nAbility to communicate effectively with fellow associates and guests in person or via a cellular telephone/radio.\nPrior housekeeping experience required or other relevant environmental services experience.\nStand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Requires frequent bending, reaching overhead and squatting.\nMust be willing to work flexible hours as needed during busy times and high-profile events, including nights, weekends and holidays.\nCandidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple priorities.\nMust possess the ability to handle stressful and busy hotel operations.
