This role will serve as a key technical and functional resource for HR and will partner across HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, Benefits, and other functions to ensure our systems effectively support business needs.The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on Workday experience, including implementation experience, with strong knowledge of system configuration, business processes, reporting, testing, security, and data management. This individual will support day-to-day administration as well as new Workday functionality, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nThis role requires someone who can operate independently, troubleshoot complex issues, translate business requirements into system solutions, and serve as a trusted Workday subject-matter expert across the organization.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nServe as a primary Workday subject-matter expert and provide day-to-day system administration and support.\nConfigure, maintain, and optimize Workday business processes, including workflows, approvals, validations, notifications, and condition rules.\nSupport the implementation and deployment of new Workday modules, functionality, enhancements, and integrations.\nParticipate throughout the implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, data validation, deployment, and post-production support.\nDevelop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, and analytics to support HR and business needs.\nPerform regular data audits and partner with HR stakeholders to maintain strong data quality and system controls.\nTroubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and develop scalable solutions.\nPartner with HR, IT, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, vendors, and implementation partners to support integrations and system initiatives.\nCoordinate testing for system changes, Workday releases, enhancements, and implementations, including user acceptance testing.\nSupport Workday security administration, including security groups, roles, permissions, and access reviews.\nOwn HRIS compliance activities, including applicable IT General Controls (ITGCs), control execution, evidence collection, audit support, and compliance reporting.\nLead and coordinate third-party Application Management Services (AMS) resources suppo\nrting Workday and HR service management, including work prioritization, issue resolution, service levels, and ongoing system support.\nEvaluate HR processes and identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, and automation.\nDevelop system documentation, user guides, and training materials and provide guidance to HR and other Workday users.\nMonitor Workday releases and recommend new functionality that could improve processes or user experience.\nSupport HR technology projects, data governance, audit requirements, and other HRIS initiatives.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n5+ years of HRIS experience with extensive hands-on Workday experience.\nDemonstrated Workday implementation experience, including new modules, functionality, or major enhancements.\nExperience with Workday configuration, business processes, reporting, calculated fields, and security.\nExperience with testing, data validation, user acceptance testing, and production support.\nExperience with a full-cycle Workday implementation or major module implementation.\nExperience supporting Workday in a global organization.\nExperience with multiple Workday modules such as Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Absence, Performance, Talent, or Succession.\nStrong understanding of HR processes, organizational structures, and HR data.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to translate business requirements into practical system solutions.\nStrong communication skills and ability to partner effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independently.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience with Workday integrations, EIBs, APIs, and integration monitoring.\nExperience with HR data governance, IT General Controls (ITGCs), SOX compliance, and audit support.\nExperience working with or coordinating third-party AMS or managed-service providers supporting Workday or other HR technology platforms.\nExperience in a manufacturing, industrial, or technology environment.\nWorkday certification or formal Workday training is a plus.\nKEY COMPETENCIES\nWorkday technical and functional expertise\nHRIS implementation\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills\nProcess improvement\nData accuracy and attention to detail\nProject management\nStakeholder partnership\nCustomer-focused mindset\nELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS: OmniOn Power will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
