These projects will include New Product Introduction (NPI), Direct Material Productivity (DMP), resolving customer issues, and sustaining existing products. Reporting to the R&D/ Senior Technical Manager, this position will be expected to demonstrate leadership globally.\nYour responsibilities include:\nSelecting AC/DC and DC/DC topologies based on product requirements\nDesigning controllers for AC/DC and isolated DC/DC converters\nOptimizing designs for efficiency, density, and cost\nCreating schematics, bills of material, and PCB layouts\nCreating high density PCB layout with noise and EMI mitigation\nConducting design reviews and following the New Product Introduction (NPI) process\nPerforming hands-on lab work, building, testing and qualifying prototypes\nIntroducing the product into high-volume production\nLeading projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams\nPreparing invention disclosures to protect intellectual property\nMentoring junior engineers\nBasic Requirements:\nBachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics or equivalent from an accredited university or college\nMinimum of 7 years of professional power converter design experience\nDesired Requirements:\nMaster of Science degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics preferred\nHands-on experience on control design for grid-interfaced power converters\nExperience with SiC and GaN devices-based power converter design\nCircuit simulation experience (PLECS/ PSPICE/ SIMPLIS/ SIMetrix)\nHigh frequency magnetics design knowledge\nAbility to drive, understand and adhere to product roadmaps, define new platforms\nHands-on experience related to EMC of switch mode power supplies\nKnowledge of IPC 9592B -
