Our culture is one of quality and operational excellence fueled and supported by talented people, tools and processes, and expertise.\nTo return to the OmniOn Power website, click here. \nJob Overview\nThe primary objective of this position is to coordinate, procure, and expedite materials required for New Product Introduction (NPI) projects to ensure customer requirements and project timelines are achieved. The role is responsible for managing the procurement, availability, and inventory of unique materials needed to support NPI builds.\nThis position reports directly to the Project Manager and is based at our Matamoros, Tamaulipas facility.\nKey Responsibilities\nAs an NPI Material Planner, you will:\nCreate purchase orders for suppliers to secure unique materials required for NPI builds.\n\nReview open purchase order reports daily to ensure materials are ordered and delivered in alignment with project schedules.\n\nMonitor and reduce blocked invoices, maintaining outstanding invoices at less than 30 days aging.\n\nCollaborate with Project Cost Analysis teams at Headquarters.\n\nManage NPI inventory and ensure compliance with company inventory objectives and procedures.\n\nMaintain accurate material status updates and communicate delivery schedules to Project Managers.\n\nCoordinate the timely disposition of rejected materials and supplier documentation related to PRC/NPI projects.\n\nSupport the transition of unique materials from NPI projects into regular production processes.\n\nManage the disposition of stranded inventory and unique materials under NPI control.\n\nCoordinate with freight forwarders and logistics teams to ensure on-time material delivery.\n\nMaintain accurate system data, including AB, LA, and other planning parameters, to ensure MRP functions effectively and information is properly communicated.\n\nManage purchase orders, including pull-ins, push-outs, cancellations, and supplier escalations.\n\nELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS: OmniOn Power will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in Mexico for this opening.
