This role bridges production planning and procurement, executing material requirements planning (MRP) for high-volume bills of materials (BOMs) and managing supplier relationships to prevent stockouts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nThis position reports directly to thePlanning & Fulfillment Manager and is based at our Matamoros, Tamaulipas facility.\nKey Responsibilities\nAs Planner Buyer, you will:\nProcurement & Supplier Management:\nIssue, manage, and track Purchase Orders (POs) for raw materials, electronics, and sub-assemblies.\n\nNegotiate delivery schedules, monitor supplier performance metrics (OTIF - On-Time In-Full), and resolve issues related to delayed shipments, quality discrepancies, or invoicing errors.\n\nExecute contingency plans and coordinate with alternative suppliers when primary supply chains are disrupted.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration:\nPartner with Engineering on the phase-in/phase-out (PIPO) of components for new product introductions or engineering change orders (ECOs).\n\nCoordinate with Quality and Receiving departments to ensure incoming materials meet specifications and are efficiently routed to the production floor or appropriate storage location.\n\nELIGIBILTY REQUIREMENTS: OmniOn Power will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in Mexico for this opening.
