our detection and interceptor systems to the test in the real world - building test rigs, flying drones, capturing data, and turning it into ground truth together with the team.\nWhat you'll do\nPlan and execute flight tests, including FPV and fixed-wing flights as well as model aircraft testing\nDevelop test procedures, collect data during test flights, and validate product performance in live trials\nLabel and annotate collected data accurately together with the data and ML (Machine Learning) teams\nDesign, build, and test a drone rig for the acoustic characterisation of drones in an anechoic chamber\nTravel across the city, the country, and the world to record exotic background ambient sounds\nWork hand in hand with data engineers, ML engineers, and fellow flight test staff to make sure every test delivers what the team needs\nSupport test setup and teardown in the field, alongside other engineers\nQualifikation\nWhat you bring\nHands-on experience with FPV (First-Person View) flights and/or model aircraft\nStrong technical knowledge paired with a practical, hands-on approach\nComfortable building and following structured test and data collection procedures\nDetail-oriented, careful, and consistent when collecting and labeling data\nA genuine team player who enjoys working closely with other engineers\nEU work authorization\nBonus points for\nExperience with drone operation or RC (Remote Control) piloting in conflict areas or frontline environments\nA Master's degree in a related engineering discipline \nExperience with data
