each of us makes an impact.\n\nTier 2 Cybersecurity Engineer -\nCore Responsibilities\nPerform advanced investigation and triage of security alerts generated by the SIEM\nAnalyze correlated alerts across endpoint, identity, email, and network telemetry\nDistinguish true positives from false positives and document findings clearly\nLead incident response actions including containment, eradication, and recovery support\nEscalate high-severity incidents with clear impact analysis and recommended actions\nPerform advanced investigation and triage of security alerts generated by the EDR, SIEM, Firewalls, Sentinel, and other security tools.\nInstall and configure security solutions as needed\nSoc Operations\nMonitor and respond to alerts generated by SOC MDR\nProvide contextual enrichment and validation of SIEM findings\nAct as the internal escalation point for complex or ambiguous detections\nCollaborate with application/SOC support for detection feedback and escalations\nIncident Management & Reporting\nOwn Tier 2-level incidents from investigation through resolution\nMaintain accurate case documentation and timelines\nProduce clear, customer-facing incident summaries when required\nContribute to post-incident reviews and lessons learned\nCollaboration & Continuous Improvement\nMentor Tier 1 SOC analysts and assist with escalation handling\nParticipate in tabletop exercises and incident simulations\nStay current on emerging threats, attacker techniques, and tool capabilities\nRecommend improvements to SOC processes, tooling, and response workflows\nRequired Qualifications\n5 or more years of hands-on SOC, IR, or security operations experience\nStrong understanding of:Endpoint security concepts\nEmail and phishing attack chains\nIdentity-based attacks (credential abuse, MFA bypass)\n\nExperience working with:SIEM platforms (querying, investigations, rule tuning)\nEndpoint detection and response tools\n\nAbility to clearly document technical findings for both technical and non-technical audiences\nRequired Certifications\nValid and current CompTIA Security +\nNice to Have -
