With multiple gigawatts currently under construction, we are enabling grid-safe data centers. \nRole Summary\nON.energy is seeking a bilingual Agile Coach based in Mexico City to drive effective agile execution across engineering and technology teams. This role serves as a facilitator, coach, and process steward, helping teams and leaders adopt and consistently apply agile principles while ensuring priorities remain aligned with evolving business needs.\nThe ideal candidate is an experienced practitioner who can influence, mentor, and improve team effectiveness without direct authority. This individual will work across software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, industrial systems, and other technical functions, collaborating with stakeholders and distributed teams in both English and Spanish.\nKey Responsibilities\nAgile Coaching and Process Stewardship\nCoach managers, team leads, and contributors on agile principles, Scrum practices, Kanban workflows, and continuous improvement.\nPromote consistent application of agile methodologies across teams while adapting practices to fit organizational needs.\nIdentify process inefficiencies and partner with leaders to improve team effectiveness, predictability, and delivery outcomes.\nFacilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and other team events.\nConduct coaching sessions, workshops, and team ceremonies in both English and Spanish as needed.\nFoster a culture of transparency, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nMentor leaders on servant leadership and agile management practices.\nWork Management and Delivery Excellence\nPartner with leaders and stakeholders to maintain healthy backlogs and ensure work is appropriately prioritized.\nHelp teams define and manage clear workflows, work item lifecycles, and delivery processes.\nSupport effective use and administration of Azure DevOps for work management, traceability, dashboards, and reporting.\nMonitor agile health metrics such as velocity, cycle time, throughput, lead time, and backlog hygiene.\nUse data-driven insights to identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities for improvement.\nSupport teams in balancing competing priorities while maintaining focus on delivering business value.\nImprove planning, estimation, forecasting, and execution practices across teams.\nCross-Functional Coordination\nFacilitate collaboration across software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, operational technology, product, operations, and business teams.\nLead discussions around priorities, dependencies, risks, and resource constraints.\nHelp stakeholders understand tradeoffs and make informed decisions regarding scope, timelines, and delivery commitments.\nEnsure transparency of progress, blockers, and key initiatives through clear reporting and dashboards.\nCoordinate across teams in Mexico, the United States, and other locations to improve alignment and delivery.\nCommunicate clearly and effectively with technical and business stakeholders in both English and Spanish.\nOrganizational Agility and Continuous Improvement\nAssess team maturity and develop coaching strategies tailored to team needs.\nLead agile transformation efforts and help scale effective practices across multiple teams.\nPartner with executive leadership to align portfolio priorities, delivery objectives, and organizational goals.\nChampion organizational improvements that increase efficiency, quality, and customer value.\nDrive initiatives that improve collaboration, communication, accountability, and delivery performance.\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of experience as an Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Agile Program Manager, or in a similar leadership role.\nProfessional fluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to lead meetings, facilitate workshops, coach teams, and communicate with stakeholders in both languages.\nStrong expertise in Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and modern agile delivery practices.\nDemonstrated success coaching leaders and teams across multiple functions.\nHands-on experience with Azure DevOps administration, work management, dashboards, and reporting.\nStrong analytical skills with experience using metrics to drive process improvement.\nExcellent facilitation, communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.\nProven ability to influence and drive change without direct authority.\nExperience coordinating across software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operational technology teams.\nAbility to work effectively with distributed and international teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCertified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Certified Agile Coach, SAFe, or equivalent certification.\nExperience coaching multiple teams simultaneously in a fast-paced technology environment.\nExperience leading agile transformations or scaling agile practices across an organization.\nFamiliarity with reporting and analytics platforms such as Power BI.\nExperience working across teams in Mexico and the United States.\nExperience in energy technology, industrial systems, battery energy storage systems (BESS), SCADA, IoT, or related domains.\nFor US-based roles -
