environmental compliance.\nKey Responsibilities:\nHealth & Safety Management\nImplement and maintain the company's HSE policies, procedures, and programs.\nEnsure compliance with applicable local HSE legislation, regulations, and client requirements.\nConduct regular workplace and site inspections to identify unsafe conditions and practices.\nPerform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Risk Assessments for activities and operations.\nDevelop and review Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Safe Work Procedures.\nMonitor compliance with Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems, where applicable.\nEnsure appropriate PPE is identified, available, and properly used.\nMonitor high-risk activities such as working at height, lifting operations, hot work, confined spaces, excavation, electrical work, and work involving hazardous substances.\nParticipate in emergency preparedness activities and drills.\nProvide guidance to employees and management on HSE matters.\nEnvironmental Management\nMonitor compliance with environmental requirements and company procedures.\nSupport waste management, chemical handling, spill prevention, and pollution-control initiatives.\nConduct environmental inspections and identify potential environmental risks.\nSupport environmental reporting and maintain relevant records.\nPromote initiatives to reduce waste, energy consumption, and environmental impact.\nIncident & Accident Management\nInvestigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.\nIdentify root causes and recommend corrective and preventive actions.\nPrepare incident investigation reports and maintain HSE records.\nMonitor corrective actions until closure.\nAnalyze incident trends and recommend preventive measures.\nHSE Inspections & Audits\nConduct routine HSE inspections, audits, and compliance checks.\nPrepare inspection and audit reports and track corrective actions.\nSupport internal and external HSE audits.\nMonitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with HSE requirements.\nMaintain HSE documentation, registers, checklists, and records.\nTraining & Awareness\nDeliver HSE inductions and toolbox talks to employees, contractors, and visitors.\nDevelop and conduct safety awareness sessions based on identified risks.\nIdentify HSE training requirements and coordinate relevant training programs.\nPromote employee participation in safety initiatives and reporting of unsafe conditions.\nEmergency Preparedness\nDevelop and maintain emergency response procedures and plans.\nParticipate in emergency drills and evaluate their effectiveness.\nEnsure emergency equipment, fire-fighting equipment, first-aid facilities, and evacuation arrangements are appropriately maintained.\nSupport emergency response teams and coordinate actions during incidents.\nReporting & Documentation\nPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly HSE reports.\nMaintain HSE statistics, including incidents, near misses, inspections, observations, and corrective actions.\nMonitor HSE KPIs and provide recommendations for improvement.\nMaintain accurate HSE records and documentation.\nPrepare presentations and reports for management and project stakeholders.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline.\n3-7 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in construction, engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or project environments.\nStrong knowledge of HSE principles, risk assessment, incident investigation, and safety management systems.\nExperience conducting site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.\nGood knowledge of applicable HSE legislation and regulatory requirements.\nExperience working with contractors and subcontractors.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently and identify potential risks before they result in incidents.\nGood report-writing, documentation, and analytical skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and
