You will design, implement, and execute test procedures to ensure software features work as intended. Focused on automation and advancing automation capabilities, you will also design, build, and use test automation and build automation to ensure our software always fulfills business solution requirements to protect our customers. Work collaboratively as part of a software engineer team aligned with cybersecurity researchers and product managers to iterate toward product definition and realization. Additionally, you will be working with the Architecture team to take the platform to the next level of maturity in terms of technologies, quality, and architecture design while advancing our quality engineering processes to deliver high-quality products and services.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and develop user-facing features and interfaces using modern front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks (React).\nEnsure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.\nConduct thorough testing and debugging of front-end components to ensure high performance and cross-browser compatibility.\nStay updated on emerging trends and best practices in front-end development, incorporating new technologies and techniques as appropriate.\nUtilize Python to build backend services, APIs, and scripting solutions to support front-end functionality and enhance application features.\nWork alongside senior developers to contribute to the design and implementation of Python-based solutions, following best practices and coding standards.\nParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code Engineering Focus\nDesign & Architecture: Ability to translate complex product goals and platform capabilities into scalable, resilient system and automation architectures.\nOrchestration & Integration: Proficiency in stitching together services, APIs, databases, UI components, and test automation pipelines safely and efficiently.\nProblem Solutioning: A track record of evaluating trade-offs, edge cases, system performance, operational cost, and maintenance over raw code volume.\nHands-On AI Leverage\nAI Proficiency: Ability to integrate AI tools, AI-assisted development, or agentic workflows into the build and testing process.\nProven, practical experience using AI tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, LLM APIs, custom agentic scripts) to accelerate delivery, refactor systems, build automation frameworks, or solve complex engineering problems.\nAbility to demonstrate or detail specific instances where AI workflows support delivering software and automation faster, cleaner, or at higher quality.\nRequirements:\n5+ years of professional software engineering experience across software development and quality engineering.\nDemonstrated experience designing and building systems or automation solutions using Python and JavaScript / TypeScript.\nHands-on, practical experience integrating AI-assisted development workflows (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, LLM APIs) into daily software delivery.\nBachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience.\nExperience with React and modern frontend development standards.\nExperience with tracking, testing, and lifecycle tools, including Test Case Management, Project Planning Tools, and Issue Tracking.\nExperience with APIs (REST, GraphQL) and system integration.\nExperience with Relational databases and ORMs (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy).\nExperience troubleshooting production environments using observability and monitoring tools.\nSoftware development mastery: Deep understanding of software design, design patterns, coding principles, and agile methodologies.\nAbility to design, build, and maintain automation frameworks: expertise in designing scalable, modular, and maintainable frameworks, handling test data, execution reporting, and configuration management.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work across engineering, research, and product teams.\nCommunication and collaboration skills: being able to work within a team, effectively communicate with developers, testers, and other team members to
