The Engineer works with business analysts, technical product managers, and other internal business partners to ensure that development tasks are delivered on time and within budget and may provide recommendations for the development of new or updated code.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nProvides application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project.\n\nFollows One Call SDLC Standards\n\nDevelops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications.\n\nCodes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.\n\nMaintains, tests and integrates application components.\n\nEnsures that system improvements are successfully implemented.\n\nDemonstrates an understanding of One Call systems and the workers compensation industry.\n\nParticipates in Planning and analysis phase of SD projects\n\nAnalyzes requirements and translates business requirements into product designs.\n\nWrites technical specifications and other forms of documentation.\n\nSuggests technical alternatives and improves/streamlines processes and systems.\n\nCompletes project assignments and special projects commensurate with job expectations.\n\nConducts planning, analysis and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks.\n\nMay provide leadership and/or guidance to other technical professionals.\n\nEDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience. Work-from-home requirements include the colleague’s ability to set up computer equipment within their home office.
