Step into a culture where inclusivity is the foundation, where your ideas are trusted and supported, your passions are nurtured, and the spirit of collaboration is encouraged.\nWe move fast, think differently, and empower our people to deliver breakthrough solutions.\nWe are looking for\nProject Manager (m/f/d)\nin Product Life-cycle Management (PLM) Function\nat one of our locations in EMEA region - Germany (Reutlingen)\nYour tasks:\nProject Planning\n\nDefine project scope, objectives, assumptions, constraints, and deliverables in alignment with customer and organizational requirements.\n\nDevelop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nEstimate and coordinate required project resources, including personnel, equipment, tooling, materials, and budget.\n\nEstablish project governance structure and project execution strategy.\n\nCreate and maintain the overall Project Plan, ensuring alignment with Quality, Cost, Timing (QCT), and profitability targets.\n\nCoordinate project kick-off activities and ensure alignment among all stakeholders.\n\n2. Project Execution and Coordination\nLead and steer the Project Core Team, including:\nApplication Engineering\nPurchasing\nAccount Management\nLaunch Management\nProject Quality\nProject Logistics\nProject Controlling\n\nEnsure execution of all project activities according to established plans and milestones.\n\nCoordinate project-related activities with customers, suppliers, and internal functions.\n\nDrive completion of project deliverables through cross-functional collaboration.\n\nManage Engineering Changes and Engineering Change Notices throughout the project lifecycle.\n\nEnsure proper communication and alignment between customer requirements and internal execution teams.\n\nSupport prototype, validation, industrialization, and launch activities.\n\n3. Monitoring and Control\nTrack project progress against approved plans, schedules, budgets, and milestones.\n\nMonitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Quality, Cost, Timing, Scope, and Customer Satisfaction.\n\nControl project budgets, investments, development costs, tooling expenditures, and launch expenses.\n\nIdentify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and opportunities.\n\nDevelop mitigation and recovery plans to address project deviations.\n\nMaintain project action item lists, risk registers, and issue logs.\n\nProvide periodic project status reports to customers, management, and project stakeholders.\n\nEscalate critical risks, issues, and schedule impacts as required.\n\n4. Stakeholder Management\nServe as the primary customer interface throughout project execution.\n\nCommunicate project status, milestones, risks, recovery plans, and achievements to customers and internal stakeholders.\n\nEnsure alignment and accountability within the Project Core Team.\n\nLead project review meetings, milestone reviews, and governance meetings.\n\nFacilitate decision-making and resolution of project conflicts.\n\nEscalate critical project concerns to management when project objectives are at risk.\n\nBuild and maintain effective relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.\n\n5. Project Closure\nValidate completion of all contractual, technical, quality, and commercial deliverables.\n\nEnsure successful completion of PPAP submissions, customer approvals, and launch requirements.\n\nCoordinate project handover to operations and serial production teams.\n\nVerify achievement of project profitability objectives and identify improvement opportunities.\n\nDocument and communicate Lessons Learned for future project applications.\n\nEnsure compliance with contractual obligations, customer requirements, and internal procedures.\n\nComplete project closure documentation and obtain required approvals.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering), Business Administration, or related field\n\n5+ years of experience in automotive industry\n\n3+ years of experience in Project Management\n\n3+ years of experience in new product launches\n\nKnowledge of APQP, IATF16949, PPAP, FMEA, project planning tools (e.g. MS Project)\n\nGood command of English AND German\n\nExperience in projects with automotive OEM customers\n\nIPMA Level D (or higher) or PMP (or higher) certification is preferred\n\nWillingness to travel (20-30%)\n\nOur offer:\nA permanent, full-time position\n\nA mixed team of fresh talent and long-standing employees\n\nExtensive training and development opportunities\n\nA structured induction program\n\nAn attractive remuneration package\n\nAre you interested?\nWe are looking forward to receive your application.
