In this role, you will be working closely with the Digital Practice Manager on various projects, while providing support to our Architecture and Engineering disciplines, predominantly to our Mechanical Engineering production team as needed. \nYou’ll Love This Role If\nYou value strategic alignment and are inspired by our ambition\nYou appreciate variety in your day and love supporting multiple high-impact projects \nYou enjoy the challenge of identifying opportunities for improvement and developing innovative solutions in a team-based environment\nYou embrace progressive change, out-of-the-box thinking, and working in a high-energy environment\nYou are a continuous learner, finding ways to leverage tech and new techniques in creating operational efficiencies\nWhat You Will Do\nApply BIM and Revit knowledge to aid in development of family content and repositories \nAct as Revit support specialist to all disciplines as needed, with focus on Mechanical Engineering\nConsolidated project set-up of all integrated discipline BIM models, derived from BIM Execution Plan information at project inception \nImplement and monitor BIM QA/Model Management tactics including model health, modelling standards and clash detection \nSetup, manage and educate teams on ACC (Autodesk Forma) sites and practices\nExercise Reality Capture / LiDAR scanning supporting our project needs\nSupport the Digital Practice Manager in technological and efficacy developments, workflow optimization and digital logistics\nWhat You Bring to the Table\nGraduate BIM/Engineering/Architectural Technologist three-year college diploma or Architecture/Engineering university degree \nBIM Management or similar post-graduate certificate an asset \nStrong Revit modelling and custom content creation skills and advanced experience \nStrong knowledge in Dynamo; knowledge of Python preferred \nProficiency with model federation platforms such as Navisworks is an asset\nStrong working knowledge of Autodesk Forma, predominantly Document Management, Design Collaboration, Model Coordination, Build and Cost Modules\nStrong communication is essential (interpersonal, verbal, written) \nInsight of Revit as a data-rich environment, familiarity of custom parameters and schedule creation \nEncompassing knowledge of multiple design consulting disciplines \nEnthusiastic team player in a fast-paced environment, with good understanding of Broad AEC industry building components \nAdaptable, willing to learn new technology, strong communication skills \nEfficiency and ability to prioritize and multi-task \nClass G driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle, as there will be some travel to project sites\n\nLife at WalterFedy \nWe are a people-first organization that embraces a hybrid work strategy.
