Reporting to the Bioinformatics Lead, you will help us develop new pipelines for the early diagnosis and screening of complex diseases such as cancer. We hope to find someone with a start-up spirit who is highly motivated to be a part of a project that will revolutionize early cancer diagnosis and improve people’s quality of life.\nYour Responsibilities:\nDevelop, optimize, and maintain pipelines for NGS data analysis, with a focus on RNA-seq.\n\nPerform large-scale data mining, integration, and interpretation of genomics datasets.\n\nApply machine learning and statistical approaches to identify novel biomarker signatures.\n\nWrite and maintain efficient, reproducible, and well-documented code in Bash, Python, and R.\n\nAssist in the development of software and custom scripts to automate data input, retrieval, processing, and analysis.\n\nContribute to the preparation of patents, scientific publications, and regulatory submissions.\n\nWhat We Are Looking For:\nPhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, data science, or a related field, and3+ years of postdoctoral or industry experience.\n\nProven track record in NGS data analysis (especially RNA-seq).\n\nProficiency in Python and R.\n\nExperience with workflow management systems (Nextflow is a plus).\n\nSolid background in genomics, biostatistics, and machine learning.\n\nFamiliarity with Linux environments.\n\nA publication record in peer-reviewed journals.\n\nStrong communication skills, both oral and written.\n\nFluent in English.\n\nNice to Have:\nExperience with cloud infrastructures (AWS is a plus).\n\nExperience in deep learning and advanced ML methods.\n\nHands-on experience in Nextflow development.\n\nSolid experience in software development and engineering best practices.\n\nWhat We Offer:\nShaping the future of cancer diagnostics in a fast-growing biotech with global ambition.\n\nFull-time position based in Barcelona, with a flexible schedule and hybrid work options.\n\nPermanent contract and a competitive compensation package (base salary + variable),\n\naligned with your experience and contributions.\n\n23 days of vacation + 3 company-defined days.\n\nExtra day of holiday to celebrate your birthday.\n\nOpportunities to expand your leadership skills, contribute to publications, and shape innovations with real-world clinical impact.\n\nHow to Apply:\nIf you are excited about shaping the future of early cancer detection and want to play a key role\nin scaling a biotech startup, we’d love to hear from you!\nTo apply, click the apply button and fill out the application.\nWe review applications on a rolling basis and encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
