Job Description

I. Position Overview
The Delivery Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising daily delivery operations to ensure products are delivered safely, accurately, and on time to depots, dealers, retail shops, project sites, contractors, and end customers.
The role oversees delivery execution across multiple delivery channels including trucks, tuk tuks, motorcycles, cars, and third-party logistics providers while ensuring high customer service standards, efficient route execution, and compliance with company safety requirements.

II. Key Responsibilities
1. Daily Delivery Operations Management
• Supervise daily delivery activities and dispatch schedules.
• Ensure all customer orders are delivered according to planned schedules.
• Monitor delivery progress and resolve operational issues immediately.
• Coordinate urgent and same-day delivery requests.
• Ensure delivery commitments are achieved.

2. Dispatch Coordination
• Coordinate vehicle assignments and delivery routes.
• Ensure drivers receive complete delivery documentation.
• Verify loading schedules with warehouse personnel.
• Monitor dispatch turnaround times.
• Maintain smooth communication between warehouse and delivery teams.

3. Fleet Utilization & Delivery Resource Management
• Monitor utilization of trucks, tuk tuks, cars, motorcycles, and delivery resources.
• Ensure optimal deployment of delivery vehicles.
• Reduce idle vehicle time.
• Monitor fuel usage and vehicle performance.
• Support vehicle maintenance scheduling.

4. Driver & Rider Supervision
• Supervise drivers, riders, and delivery helpers.
• Monitor attendance and daily performance.
• Conduct daily delivery briefings.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and delivery procedures.
• Promote discipline, accountability, and teamwork.

5. Depo & Dealer Delivery Support
• Coordinate replenishment deliveries to depots and dealers.
• Monitor dealer stock delivery requests.
• Prioritize urgent replenishment requirements.
• Support Sales teams in achieving service commitments.
• Ensure stock availability through timely deliveries.

6. Customer Delivery Service
• Ensure positive customer delivery experiences.
• Handle delivery-related customer concerns.
• Investigate delivery delays and complaints.
• Communicate delivery status updates proactively.
• Support customer retention through reliable service.

7. Delivery Accuracy Control
• Verify delivery orders before dispatch.
• Ensure correct products, quantities, and documentation are delivered.
• Reduce delivery errors and product shortages.
• Monitor proof-of-delivery documentation.
• Ensure proper product handling and condition upon delivery.

8. Route Monitoring & Delivery Tracking
• Track delivery vehicles throughout the day.
• Monitor route performance and delivery completion.
• Identify delays and corrective actions.
• Optimize route execution and delivery productivity.
• Support GPS and tracking system utilization.

9. Safety & Compliance
• Enforce transportation safety procedures.
• Conduct vehicle and delivery safety checks.
• Promote safe driving practices.
• Investigate delivery incidents and accidents.
• Ensure compliance with company regulations and transport laws.

10. Reporting & Operational Performance
• Prepare daily delivery reports.
• Monitor delivery KPIs and operational performance.
• Report delivery issues and corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.

Job Requirements

III. Qualifications & Requirements
** Education:
• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional Logistics Certification is an advantage.

**Experience:
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, delivery operations, warehouse dispatch, or fleet management.
• Experience in construction materials, paint, cement, building materials, or FMCG industries is preferred.
