We plan to open an office in Porto in the future. This approach gives team members the flexibility to work remotely while also coming together in the office for collaboration and teamwork. \n We are looking for a proactive and eager DevOps Engineer with experience in building, maintaining, and operating Linux based infrastructure at scale. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for automation and efficiency and thrives in a collaborative multi-national environment.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing\nCollaborate closely with fellow devops engineers and the development team to deploy and maintain application infrastructure.\nAssist in the development and support of tooling to streamline the deployment and maintenance of our products.\nWork with Github, Jenkins, and Chef to deploy applications from development through to production environments.\nSupport both in-house and third-party applications, including handling deployments, upgrades, and troubleshooting.\nBuild and manage automation pipelines for application deployment and maintenance.\nEngage in the day-to-day management of Linux servers via the command line\nCreate monitoring dashboards and alerts in Grafana leveraging Prometheus and Alertmanager.\nDocument processes and best practices clearly and concisely.\nParticipate in incident solving on-call rotation.\nWhat You Will Bring to the Role\n2+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering or a related field.\nStrong understanding of the Linux operating system and comfort working at the command line.\nExperience with using Chef or other configuration management tools to automate the creation and maintenance of servers and applications.\nAbility to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Github Actions, and Jenkins.\nSolid understanding of networking principles, including DNS, TCP/UDP, firewalls, and load balancers.\nA willingness to dive into both complex systems and more routine tasks, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.\nA foundational understanding of security best practices.\nProficiency with scripting languages like Bash, Ruby, Python, or Go.\nDiversity, Inclusion, and Equal Opportunity\nWe hire, promote, and compensate employees based on their ability to perform their job responsibilities, without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, gender, marital status, national origin, ancestry, age, citizenship, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, or any other basis protected by applicable law (collectively referred to in our Code of Conduct as “Protected Classes”).
