This team is responsible for the software integration and Qualification testing of embedded software for hybrid powertrain products, ensuring the interfaces between software components work correctly and contributing to enhancing the safety, performance, and efficiency of cutting-edge automotive technologies.Key Responsibilities \nDefine DVPs for software integration testing (ASPICE SWE.5) of embedded software, based on SWE.2 design decisions.\nDefine and execute the integration test strategy and test plan (ASPICE SWE.5), based on software architecture and requirements.\nDesign and implement integration test cases to validate interfaces between BSW and ASW, as well as between BSW components, ensuring traceability to requirements and software architecture.\nUse the Lauterbach debugger to trace, analyze, and support the resolution of software integration issues.\nAutomate test cases where applicable, analyze and document test results, and report defects, ensuring traceability and collaborating closely with software architects and developers on root-cause analysis.\nSupport the maintenance of test setups and benches, and contribute to the continuous improvement of integration testing methods and tooling.\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience with embedded software integration testing, and a good understanding of microcontroller architecture and electronics is a must.\nGood experience in testing ASPICE SWE.5 (integration testing) is a must.\nGood understanding of AUTOSAR (BSW and ASW architecture) SEW.2 is a must.\nGood experience using the Lauterbach debugger (TRACE32) for testing, debugging, and analyzing embedded software is a must.\n3+ years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software verification and integration testing,.\nGood reading and analysis skills in C and C++, to understand embedded software under test;\nFamiliarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, XCP, UDS).\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detail; an independent, systematic worker with a goal-oriented, analytical mindset who thrives in a collaborative team environment.\nGood written and spoken English.\nPreferred Skills\nPython for test automation is a plus.\nKnowledge of automotive test tools and automation frameworks (Vector, dSpace AutomationDesk, Vector CANoe, vTestStudio) is a plus.\nHands-on experience with HiL /SiL testing methodologies is a plus.\nFamiliarity with requirements management and defect-tracking tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion, Jira) is a plus.\nWhat we offer: \nContract & Compensation: Permanent contract, with an indicative gross annual salary (RAL) between €48.000 and €52.000 (commensurate with your actual experience). \nContinuous Growth: Access to cutting-edge internal labs and career paths in a solid, fast-growing sector. \nMeal Vouchers. \nWellbeing at work: In-house company gym available to the whole team. \nEnergy Station: Break area with free coffee, water, and healthy snacks, always available.\nWork location: Sint-Truiden, Belgium\nWhy choose Kineton?\nAt Kineton, you'll find an inclusive environment where your ideas are valued and supported.
