This customer-facing role combines hands-on technical expertise, scientific communication, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our solutions seamlessly integrate into customer workflows and accelerate their research outcomes.This is a remote, field-based role supporting customers across our Mid-Atlantic territory; candidates must live within the region.\nCustomer Engagement & Support\nLead in-field and in-house customer demonstrations showcasing NanoTemper solutions and applications across diverse research contexts\nSupport pre-sales technical discussions (remote and in-person) by understanding customer needs and aligning technologies to research workflows and scientific goals\nPrepare, present, and discuss demo and evaluation reports with customers and internal stakeholders to highlight experimental outcomes and instrument performance\nManage demo unit booking and logistics to ensure timely customer access and smooth operation\nPerform instrument installation and on-site technical support, ensuring successful deployment and user confidence\nDeliver application-focused and in-field user training tailored to customer research applications\nScientific Communication & RepresentationSupport and present at webinars, workshops, and scientific conferences, highlighting application insights, case studies, and experimental data\nSupport conference activities, engaging attendees and providing technical expertise\nCollaborate with Marketing and Product Management teams to translate findings into impactful, customer-facing content\nContribute automation and workflow integration expertise during customer discussions to enhance system utilization and efficiency\nSupport development of application notes, protocols, technical posters, and presentations to share best practices and results\nSupport Sales teams by sharing technical insights and helping refine application messaging\nMarket Insight & Cross-Functional CollaborationGather and communicate market and application trends, competitive insights, and customer feedback to inform internal stakeholders\nCollaborate with Product Management and R&D teams on product performance feedback, feature development, and workflow improvements\nCore CompetenciesCustomer-centric mindset and scientific credibility: Build trust and long-term relationships by understanding customer challenges and delivering scientifically sound solutions\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability: Diagnose technical issues quickly and develop practical solutions that keep customers productive\nEffective communicator capable of translating complex data into clear insights: Present technical information in an accessible, compelling manner to audiences ranging from lab scientists to decision-makers\nCollaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment: Work seamlessly across Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Product Management to drive customer success and company impact\nYour expertise\nRequired QualificationsEducation: PhD or MSc in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biophysics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field\nExperience: 2+ years of hands-on laboratory experience with protein characterization, drug discovery, or biophysical techniques\n Technical Skills: Strong understanding of biophysical methods (e.g., binding affinity measurements, protein stability analysis, thermal shift assays), Experience with laboratory instrumentation and troubleshooting, Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and scientific reporting\nCommunication: Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences\n Travel: Willingness to travel regularly (up to 50-70%) for customer visits, demonstrations, and conferences\nDriver's License: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required for travel to customer sites and field demonstrations\nWork authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-provided visa sponsorship now or in the future.
