key role in ensuring the safety and compliance of complex systems within the automotive and technology industries, guiding clients through functional safety activities from concept to production.\nLead and manage functional safety activities in accordance with ISO 26262 and other applicable safety standards, such as IEC 61508.\nIndependently conduct and review safety analyses, including HARA, FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA.\nDevelop and maintain functional and technical safety concepts, safety requirements, and safety cases throughout the product development lifecycle.\nDefine and implement functional safety plans, verification strategies, and safety-related development processes.\nSupport the integration of safety requirements into system, hardware, and software development, ensuring alignment with industry standards.\nAct as a key technical contact for clients, leading safety-related discussions, workshops, and technical reviews.\nIdentify potential safety risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and ensure the quality and completeness of safety deliverables.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project managers to ensure successful project execution.\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and consultants.\nContribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives through INVENSITY's Academy and technical communities.\nYour profile\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (Master's degree preferred).\n5-7 years of professional experience in functional safety engineering, preferably within the automotive industry or other safety-critical environments.\nStrong practical knowledge of ISO 26262, including its application across the product development lifecycle.\nProven hands-on experience conducting safety analyses such as HARA, FMEA, FTA, and/or FMEDA.\nExperience developing functional and technical safety concepts, safety requirements, and safety documentation.\nSolid understanding of systems engineering processes, the V-model, and hardware/software development lifecycles.\nExperience working with safety-related development tools and requirements management systems such as DOORS, Jama, or equivalent solutions.\nFamiliarity with IEC 61508 or other industry-specific functional safety standards is a plus.\nDemonstrated ability to independently manage functional safety work packages and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a structured and quality-oriented approach.\nExcellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence engaging directly with clients and technical stakeholders.\nExperience providing technical guidance or mentoring junior engineers is an advantage.\nProactive, collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and
