support.\nRequirements\nResponsibilities\nDaily Transactions\nRecord sales, receipts, and petty cash entries accurately using Excel or our POS exports.\nPrepare and file daily cash summaries and support cash counts at outlets when required.\nManage basic invoice entry for suppliers and assist with payment preparations under guidance.\nTrack and log expense receipts for reimbursements and supplier claims.\nReporting & Reconciliation\nPerform daily and weekly reconciliations between bank statements, POS reports, and accounting records.\nHelp prepare simple ledger entries and support month-end closing tasks.\nCreate clear, scannable sales and expense reports for managers to review.\nFlag inconsistencies and suggest fixes to improve data quality.\nStakeholder Support\nWork with store staff to resolve transaction questions and collect missing documentation.\nSupport supplier queries and assist with basic vendor onboarding paperwork.\nCollaborate with the finance team to streamline routine processes and documentation.\nMaintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.\nRequirements\nQualifications & Experience\nPursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.\nNo prior work experience required, familiarity with basic accounting concepts is preferred.\nAvailable for an internship term and flexible with some in-person visits to outlets.\nHard Skills & Knowledge\nProficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including formulas and simple pivot tables.\nComfortable with data entry, invoice processing, and basic reconciliations.\nFamiliarity with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or similar is an advantage.\nBasic understanding of Malaysian sales tax practices and retail POS reports is helpful.\nSoft Skills & Qualities\nOrganised and detail oriented with a habit of checking work for accuracy.\nGood communicator who can follow instructions and ask clear
