Aspire Defence Services Limited (ADSL) is seeking a passionate and results-driven Mechanical Engineer to be part of our exciting journey.\nWhat We Offer\nAnnual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays, with the option to buy and sell holiday\n\nPension Plan: Contributory Company Pension Plan matched up to 6%\n\nInsurance: Individual life assurance and personal accident cover\n\nEmployee Benefits Portal: Access to private medical, private dental, discounted gym membership, and discounted shopping at over 100 brands and outlets\n\nReward and Recognition: Celebrate outstanding achievements\n\nEmployee Assistance Program: Funded program with onsite mental health first aiders\n\nYour Role\nCarry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on heating, ventilation, air conditioning, air handling and refrigeration systems across sites.\n\nDiagnose faults and complete mechanical and electrical repairs to plant and equipment in line with maintenance schedules and company standards.\n\nUndertake inspections and remedial works relating to HVAC, heating, ventilation, plumbing and associated building services installations.\n\nEnsure all work complies with safety requirements, building regulations, quality standards and safe systems of work.\n\nMaintain accurate maintenance records using company systems and documentation processes.\n\nProvide excellent customer service, respond to queries professionally and support clients, customers and stakeholders.\n\nWork collaboratively with the wider maintenance team to deliver an efficient and effective service while supporting health, safety and environmental objectives.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nQualifications: Mechanical/HVAC qualification, relevant electrical qualifications such as 18th Edition/Test and Inspect, and a full UK driving license. Knowledge of or experience in Pool plant maintenance and testing and oversight of compressors is desirable.\n\nExperience: Proven experience servicing, fault finding, repairing and maintaining commercial HVAC, Strong knowledge of heating and hot water plant, building services engineering and health and safety requirements, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and work instructions. Experience of troubleshooting installations and repairs within a varied maintenance environment is essential.\n\nSkills: Able to work independently and as part of a team, effectively manage daily workloads and deliver high standards of workmanship.
