Reports to the Outlet Store Manager or Outlet Assistant Manager in the Manager’s absence.\n\nExemplary Duties/ Responsibilities:\nPreparing, replenishing, and rotating products for table sales multiple times each day in 20-minute intervals.\nAssist customers in understanding the auction process, including bidding, purchasing, sorting, and associated fees.\nOperating cash register, Process Point of Sale (POS), purchases as assigned.\nResponsible for accuracy of transactions when assigned to cashier and adherence to company cash and credit card policy and procedure.\nReport safety hazards and all accidents to the Store Manager or Assistant Manager IMMEDIATELY.\nMaintain brand and operational standards (visual, cleanliness, and safety).\nCompleting all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, empty trash, and other duties as assigned).\nAssist in loading and unloading trucks to receive daily retail store-pulled merchandise.\nProvide customer service in a positive, professional, and courteous manner to both internal and external customers.\nMay be cross trained for other Donated Goods Retail (DGR) functions and assist in dock area as needed.\nAnswer the telephone in a courteous manner.\nAttend general departmental meetings, and safety meetings as required.\nBe flexible in performing a variety of duties.\nResponsible for other duties as assigned.\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\nEducation/Experience:\nOne to two years of positive work history, preferably in a warehouse or similar role.\nKnowledge & Skills:\nAble to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing.\nAbility to read, write, and understand simple instructions.\nBasic mathematical skills.\nUnderstanding of rendering customer service and working with the public is desirable.\nAble to answer the telephone.\nUse of cash register and calculator /10 key necessary.\nAccuracy of work is essential.\nAble to lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.\nCooperation with store personnel, direct supervisors, and Division Director.\nAbility to serve customers effectively.\nQuantity and quality of work performed.\nAccuracy of records maintained.\nAbility to meet deadlines and respond to special needs.\nAbility to serve the public professionally and courteously.\nAbility to follow simple instructions.\nAppearance and organization of assigned workstation.\nAbility to perform some janitorial duties.\n\nDesirable Qualifications:\nBilingual is a plus.\n\nCore Competencies:\nTo perform the job successfully an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:\nEthics - Exhibits professionalism and respect that is evident in their work and interactions.\nTechnical Skills & Initiative - Ability and desire to learn and grow one's skillset.\nTask Execution & Adaptability – Demonstrates efficient task execution and adaptability on the job.\nJob Knowledge - Consistently knows what needs to be accomplished, how to do it, tools available for completing the job, and methods to meet job objectives.\nCustomer Service - Assists customers in a friendly polite manner.
