We’d love for you to join our team!\nJob Summary\nThe Project Manager is responsible for leading, managing, and coordinating all activities required to successfully execute tasks and associated contract requirements in support of Department of Defense (DoD) and federal government customers. The successful candidate will oversee project execution, ensure compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements, manage resources and schedules, and serve as the primary liaison between Government stakeholders and contractor personnel. This position requires strong leadership, communication, contract management, and project management expertise within complex federal environments.\nResponsibilities\nLead and manage activities and associated contract requirements in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS).\nProvide day-to-day project oversight, planning, execution, and reporting to ensure successful contract performance.\nServe as the primary point of contact for Government representatives regarding project status, deliverables, risks, and performance issues.\nCoordinate project resources, personnel, schedules, and deliverables to meet contract objectives.\nMonitor performance metrics and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure successful execution.\nDevelop project plans, schedules, status reports, and executive-level briefings.\nIdentify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with contractual, security, and regulatory requirements.\nCollaborate with Government and contractor stakeholders to resolve operational, administrative, and technical issues.\nProvide written and oral briefings to senior Government leadership regarding project progress, risks, and strategic initiatives.\nEnsure all work performed meets quality standards, mission requirements, and contractual obligations.\nSupport continuous process improvement initiatives and maintain effective communication across project teams.\nEducation and Experience\nMinimum of 10 years of experience managing federal government contracts.\nMinimum of 5 years of Department of Defense (DoD) experience managing and supporting the performance of all applicable PWS tasks.\n Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in any discipline. \nAccredited Project Management certification is required, such as:\nProject Management Professional (PMP®)\nProgram Management Professional (PgMP®)\nPRINCE2 Practitioner\nEquivalent accredited project management certification\nRequired Skills\nExperience supporting large-scale DoD programs and federal contracts.\nDemonstrated success managing multi-disciplinary teams in complex operational environments.\nExperience developing executive-level reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.\nKnowledge of federal acquisition regulations, contract administration, and project management methodologies.\nExperience managing multiple stakeholders across Government and contractor organizations.\nKnowledge, Skills, Abilities\nStrong project management, planning, and organizational skills.\nExcellent leadership and team management capabilities.\nExceptional written and oral communication skills.\nAbility to present information effectively to senior executive audiences.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.\nExperience managing project schedules, resources, budgets, and risks.\nAbility to work effectively in fast-paced and mission-critical environments.\nProficiency in project management tools, reporting systems, and Microsoft Office applications.\nSecurity Clearance\nMust possess a current, final, and fully adjudicated Top Secret security clearance.\nPhysical & Work Environment Requirements\nEmployees must be able to perform the essential functions of this position, with or without accommodation.\nAbility to remain stationary for extended periods while working at a computer.\nFrequently operate standard office equipment, including computers and telephones.\nAbility to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, video conference, and email.\nOccasionally move about the office and lift up to 20 pounds.\nAbility to work the assigned schedule with regular and reliable attendance.\nAbility to travel up to 10% as required.\nMore About B&A:\nNotable Clients\nB&A has grown to be a company that is trusted by our clients for exceptional service, innovative solutions, and inspired employees.
