You’ll be one of the first engineers employed directly by Qrux, with real influence on the product, the architecture and the team we build.\n\nWhat you’ll do\n\nYour primary focus will be Python backend development and agent workflows, with shared responsibility for the platform they run on.\n\nDesign and ship review pipelines, retrieval workflows and tool execution with human approval gates\n\nBuild evaluations and tests that expose failure modes and verify how workflows handle uncertainty\n\nTake features from implementation through review, deployment and monitoring\n\nContribute to Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD and development environments\n\nWork closely with the founder in Switzerland and engineers in Romania and Moldova\n\nHelp hire and onboard future engineers as the team grows\n\nIn your first three months, we expect you to take ownership of a bounded review workflow: understand the business rules, implement the behaviour, demonstrate how it handles failures and guide it through a monitored release.\n\nOur stack\n\nCore development: Python · PostgreSQL · Haystack · Qdrant · Odoo · self-hosted LLMs\n\nPlatform and delivery: Kubernetes · Argo CD · OpenTofu · GitLab CI · NATS JetStream · Keycloak · OpenBao\n\nData and observability: dbt · Superset · Prometheus · Loki · OpenTelemetry\n\nYou won’t know all of it, and we don’t expect you to. skills\n\nHands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes and Git-based development workflows\n\nSomething real you’ve built with LLMs, and a clear view of where they fail\n\nThe ability to turn an ambiguous requirement into a practical design, explain the trade-offs and test the result\n\nFluent written and spoken English, with clear communication in an async-first team\n\nA desire to own part of the product and follow your work through to its behaviour in production\n\nNice to have: Odoo, ERP or accounting domain knowledge, security or compliance experience, German.\n\nWhat we
