We’ll provide an approximate number of hours you may be asked to work, however there is no obligation for work to be offered, and there’s no obligation for you to accept the work offered.\nThe Opportunity\nBarnsley College is seeking an experienced and dynamic Teacher to deliver Construction-related subjects including Health and Safety, Employability, and Industrial Development.\nWorking with the Course Leader and wider Construction team, you will plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons using appropriate teaching methodologies that support learner achievement and progression.\nTeaching will be delivered online through Microsoft Teams, with learners submitting completed work electronically.\nYou will be responsible for assessing student work, providing timely marking, assessment and feedback, and monitoring learner progress throughout each programme. Learners attend a two-week block programme, requiring effective planning and organisation to ensure successful completion and preparation for final assessment.\nThis role offers flexibility whilst enabling you to make a real difference to learners developing their knowledge and skills for careers within the construction industry.
