Working closely with Finance, Talent Management, Agents, and Operations, you will help ensure that invoices, talent-related payments, vendor accounts, and other financial obligations are processed accurately and on time.\nThis is a hands-on leadership role. You will support and develop the team while remaining actively involved in AP operations when needed.\nYour Role In Action:\nTeam Leadership: Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, and support to the AP team while helping employees develop their technical skills and autonomy. \nWork Allocation & Prioritization: Organize and prioritize daily workloads to ensure invoices, payments, and other AP activities are completed accurately and within deadlines. \nQuality & Accuracy: Review AP transactions and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, proper coding, and compliance with internal procedures. \nTalent & Vendor Payments: Oversee the processing of payments related to talents, agents, vendors, suppliers, freelancers, and other business partners. \nComplex Issue Resolution: Act as the escalation point for complex invoices, payment discrepancies, vendor inquiries, coding issues, and other AP-related matters. \nProcess Management: Ensure AP procedures are consistently followed and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and controls. \nProcess Improvement: Contribute to the optimization and automation of AP workflows, including improvements to NetSuite and other financial systems. \nProblem Identification & Escalation: Identify recurring issues, operational risks, and process gaps, escalating them appropriately and proposing practical solutions. \nCross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Talent Management, Agents, Operations, and other internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth financial operations. \nHands-On Support: Remain involved in day-to-day AP activities and step in directly when additional operational support is required.\nWhat You’re Bringing With You\n5+ years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or financial operations;\nPrevious experience leading, supervising, or mentoring an AP or accounting team;\nStrong understanding of accounts payable processes, invoice processing, payment cycles, vendor management, and account reconciliations; \nPeople-oriented, with strong interpersonal and leadership skills and a genuine ability to build trust, support team development, and foster collaboration; \nStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy; \nExperience working with an ERP system; NetSuite experience is considered a strong asset;\nStrong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines; \nExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex or sensitive financial matters; \nA hands-on approach and willingness to remain involved in day-to-day operations;\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across Finance, Talent Management, Agents, and Operations; \nExperience in a talent agency, entertainment, media, advertising, creative, or similar industry is an asset; \n Bilingual in English and French.\nSoft Skills & Dulcedo DNA:\nAt Dulcedo, we look for more than just a CV - we look for energy.\nYou’re known for your initiative, curiosity, and genuine drive to make things happen.\nYour positive attitude, collaborative spirit, and the way you uplift those around you are contagious.\nYou thrive on new challenges, stay calm under pressure, and love the pace and excitement of a dynamic environment.\nYou’re a true self-starter - passionate, gritty, and goal-oriented, someone who loves having projects, challenges, and milestones to work toward.\nIn short, you’re driven, creative, and structured, someone who knows how to balance discipline, fun, and performance - 3 core pillars of Dulcedo’s culture.\nLife at Dulcedo!\nUnlimited Paid PTO : Yes, really.
