DescriptionDuties and Responsibilities:Carry\n out engineering inspections of rides, attractions and facilities. \nDiagnose\n mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults. \nDevelop\n and implement preventive maintenance programmes. \nEnsure\n all rides and attractions operate safely and efficiently. \nMonitor\n equipment performance and recommend engineering improvements. \nVerify\n compliance with engineering standards and manufacturer specifications. \nParticipate in annual ride inspections and certification programmes.\nAssist\n in the installation and commissioning of new rides and equipment. \nParticipate\n in engineering projects and refurbishment works. \nReview\n engineering drawings and technical specifications. \nCoordinate\n contractors during technical installations. \nEnsure\n projects are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards\nResponsible\n for preparing technical specifications such as Bills of Quantities (BOQs)\nPrepare\n technical reports following inspections and maintenance activities. \nMaintain\n maintenance records and engineering documentation. \nMonitor\n equipment downtime and recommend corrective actions. \nMaintain\n spare parts records and technical manuals.\nLiaise\n with manufacturers regarding technical issues.\nCoordinate\n external contractors during maintenance activities. \nVerify\n completed work before handover. \nMonitor\n contractor compliance with safety standards\nAssist\n in preparing the maintenance budget. \nMonitor\n maintenance expenditure. \nRecommend\n cost-effective engineering solutions. \nAssist\n in inventory control of spare parts and consumables\nEnsure\n as reasonably practicable, the safety, health and welfare of employees at\n work.\nSupport\n in the implementation of health and safety risk management programs relevant\n to the operations and work environment\nReport\n to the H&S department as required and support in the investigation of\n accidents and incidents.\nEnsure\n adherence to existing local H&S legislations and regulations as well as\n to any other established H&S policies and procedures.\nEnsure\n that the building and surrounding areas are safe for the for visitors and\n staff\n\nAny other cognate duties as may be necessary in\nthe circumstances and/or required by the employer. \nCandidate’s Profile:\nBachelor's\n Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering\nProfessional\n Engineering qualification would be an advantage\nMinimum\n 5 years' experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in the\n amusement, hospitality or manufacturing industry\nExperience with\n amusement rides, heavy machinery or industrial equipment is an advantage.\nHigh-level\n knowledge on mechanical, electrical, audio, visual, light, hydraulics and\n pneumatics systems and system integration environment\nTechnical\n troubleshooting\nRoot\n cause analysis \nPreventive\n maintenance planning
