Our teams are made up of driven, curious, and supportive people who enjoy learning, growing, and doing impactful work together.\nThe Role\nWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the successful implementations, migrations, and optimizations of VertiGIS Telco Solutions. This role will be responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment between business stakeholders and technical teams.\nThe ideal candidate brings a strong background in data migration, GIS systems, telecom infrastructure, or enterprise asset management platforms, along with proven technical and project leadership experience.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead full lifecycle implementation projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery.\n\nServe as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.\n\nDevelop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.\n\nCoordinate data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation logic, validation, reconciliation, and cutover planning.\n\nOversee integration & implementation efforts across systems, including:\nGIS platforms\n\nETL pipelines and data transformation frameworks\n\nAPIs, middleware, and external enterprise systems\n\nPartner with technical leads to define solution architecture, data flows, and system interfaces.\n\nEnsure alignment between Customer (project management) and VertiGIS (technical delivery) teams or equivalent stakeholders.\n\nManage risks, issues, and dependencies, with proactive mitigation strategies.\n\nFacilitate UAT, testing cycles (SIT/UAT), and go-live readiness.\n\nEstablish and track KPIs (schedule adherence, data quality, system performance, etc.).\n\nDrive clear communication across all levels, including executive reporting.\n\nEnsure proper documentation, governance, and change management processes are followed.\n\nSupport post-go-live stabilization, performance tuning, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nTechnical Capability Expectations\nAbility to understand and contribute to solution architecture and system design discussions\n\nWorking knowledge of:\nData models (relational, geospatial, and asset-based models)\n\nETL tools (e.g., FME, SSIS, or similar)\n\nAPIs and integration patterns (REST, SOAP, microservices)\n\nExperience with GIS platforms, ESRI ArcGIS ecosystem (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, Feature Services)\n\nFamiliarity with spatial data concepts (topology, coordinate systems, geodatabases)\n\nUnderstanding of telecom or utility network data structures (fiber, circuits, outside plant, network hierarchies)\n\nExposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and deployment models is a plus\n\nAbility to create andor interpret SQL queries, data transformations, and data validation scripts\n\nAbility to document and train on solutions delivered\n\nExperience working with data quality frameworks, reconciliation reporting, and audit controls\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.\n\n5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in telecom, utilities, or GIS environments.\n\nPMP, and/or Agile/Scrum certification.\n\nProven experience delivering data migration and system implementation projects.\n\nStrong understanding of:\nData migration strategies and reconciliation processes\n\nGIS systems (e.g., ArcGIS)\n\nETL processes and data integration\n\nExperience managing cross-functional and distributed teams.\n\nProficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).\n\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.\n\nNice to Have\nExperience with VertiGIS products or similar asset/network management platforms\n\nFamiliarity with telecom network data (outside plant, fiber, infrastructure assets)\n\nExperience working in multi-vendor environments (e.g., VertiGIS, client teams)\n\nKey Competencies\nStrategic thinking and execution\n\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills\n\nAbility to manage complex data and technical dependencies\n\nHigh attention to detail, especially in data quality and validation\n\nStrong organizational and multitasking abilities\n\nHow to Apply\nPlease apply with a cover letter and a resume.\nA cover letter complements your resume.
