The Data Analyst will bridge the gap between raw data and actionable intelligence by leveraging Microsoft Fabric's unified analytics platform to transform data into strategic insights that improve decision-making across fundraising, finance, program operations, and organizational leadership.\n\nThis position will be responsible for analyzing data from multiple sources, developing semantic data models, identifying trends and opportunities, conducting predictive analysis, and delivering interactive Power BI dashboards that translate data into meaningful business insights. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Fabric and Power BI expertise, and the ability to communicate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS\n\nDesign and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Power BI\n\nMonitor Fabric data pipelines and datasets and extend semantic models.\n\nPerform trend analysis, forecasting, and predictive analytics to support organizational planning and decision-making.\n\nMaintain reliable reporting systems that include data from multiple legacy organizational systems and new data systems as needed; identify inaccurate or inconsistent data and work with appropriate departments to cleanse data and resolve underlying issues.\n\nUtilize SQL, Power BI, and Fabric analytics tools to identify insights, opportunities, risks, and performance trends.\n\nDevelop and support machine learning and predictive models using Microsoft Fabric Data Science tools, Spark and/or Python.\n\nMaintain and respond to automated monitoring, alerts, and reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric capabilities.\n\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements, KPIs, and analytical needs.\n\nDevelop report wireframes, mockups, or prototypes to validate layout, metrics, filters, and user experience prior to dashboard development.\n\nPresent data-driven recommendations and insights to leadership and department teams.\n\nSupport data governance, data quality, security, and reporting best practices across the organization.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES\nN/A\n\nREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS\n\nBachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n\nThree (3) or more years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field.\n\nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and dashboard development.\n\nAbility to demonstrate data visualization capabilities in Power BI and provide examples of previous dashboard, report, or analytics work.\n\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, and Data Warehouse.\n\nStrong proficiency in SQL and experience querying large datasets.\n\nWorking knowledge of Python, Spark, or other data science and analytics tools.\n\nKnowledge of dimensional modeling, forecasting, statistical analysis, and predictive analytics methodologies.\n\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, maintain data accuracy, and work effectively in a collaborative environment.\n\nPreferred certifications: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Certified Analytics Professional or similar.\n\nPreferred KQL experience\n\nPREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS\nN/A\n\nCOMPETENCIES\n\nPresent oneself, both at and outside of work, in a manner keeping with One More Child’s Core Values of Humble, Hungry, Wise, and Called.\n\nAbility to solve day-to-day problems by analyzing issues and determining next steps.\n\nStrong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work independently.\n\nCommitment to ongoing skill development and learning.\n\nSPIRITUAL QUALIFICATIONS\n\nIt is the mission of One More Child to provide Christ-centered services to vulnerable children and struggling families.
