Your success is not just a professional goal; it's our shared commitment.\nJob Description\nThe Event Manager is responsible for owning the management and delivery of assigned events projects and/or focus areas for virtual or in-person events.\nJob Description Details:\nScope of Work\nThe Event Manager will be expected to effectively plan and organize work, have strong interpersonal communication skills, collaborate well with others, and deliver consistent results. They support day to day needs of the Travel and Events team, including but not limited to:\nOwnership of all project delivery elements, utilizing standard processes and procedures to achieve client satisfaction \nManage timelines and logistical elements per project \nParticipate in internal and external team meetings/calls with key stakeholders \nDevelop and distribute communications \nManage event registration process \nProactively escalate potential client or project issues to management and account team for timely resolution \nProvide project feedback to all client stakeholders through summary and distribution of project debrief notes \nCollaborate with supplier partners and internal support areas \nNavigate within technology platforms and data sharing tools \nCoordinate cross-functional workstreams with clients, internal teams, congress organizers, venues, general contractors, exhibit partners, agencies, and other suppliers to maintain clear ownership, deadlines, approvals, and deliverables.\nOversee appropriate reporting and accurate data \nFinancial accountability and budget management for assigned projects \nManage end-to-end congress and convention logistics, including exhibitor registration, housing, venue coordination, exhibit services, freight and material handling, audiovisual requirements, lead-retrieval services, staffing, and onsite execution. \nPerform other duties as assigned \nAdditional Job Description Details\nKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities\n4-year degree or equivalent 3+ years of Event Management experience in the following categories: meetings, conferences, tradeshows, and incentives \nComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite \nProven ability in project management & financial aptitude \nExperience with congress registration and housing platforms, exhibitor portals, convention-center and general-contractor systems, lead-retrieval tools, and event reporting technology is strongly preferred. \nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team \nExcellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously \nExcellent communication skills both verbal and written \nApply client policies and applicable industry requirements to congress activities, including attendee eligibility, healthcare professional interactions, fair-market-value considerations, expense documentation, required approvals, and transparency-reporting data. \nPossible travel for client meetings, site inspections and/or onsite for assigned projects \nMaximum Base Pay\n70,000.00
