Working to scope and deliver solutions alongside the customer architectural team.\nYou will be comfortable working at CCNA or CCIE level or have the equivalent experience in designing and configuring network and security technologies, covering on-premise, cloud and hybrid network solutions. You will be experienced in delivering technical projects and defining technical direction.\nCommunication and collaboration are paramount in this role, you will work closely with a variety of internal and external business stakeholders and will be continually engaged and collaborating.\nWhat You Will Do\nResponsibilities include planning, design and implementation for customer site, datacentre and Azure cloud. You will produce customer-facing high quality HLD and LLD documentation.\nWorking with customer project managers, architecture and other team members to develop technical solutions.\nWhere required, provide technical support and early life support, and take ownership of technical investigations into complex problems, continuing to work on them until a resolution or workaround can be implemented.\nProvide technical input and governance to the problem and update stakeholders at regular intervals as the technical investigation continues.\nAttend relevant customer specific meetings as and where required. Examples may include presenting changes to the change advisory board, providing technical input into low level designs.\nEnsure compliance to relevant standards (i.e. ISO 27001, 9001) and security (i.e. CIS, STIG) to help ensure we control, report and adequately measure and handle risks the customer faces.\nAs an effective and highly capable team member, you will self-manage your workload. You will also need to be able to mentor and develop other engineers in the wider technical support teams.\nAuthor new technical documentation, for example, for new solutions or changes in configuration required to adhere to updated security standards that is structured and relevant to the audience.\nTravel to customer datacentre and customer sites as required (expenses covered).\nWork on other tasks as required to support wider business plans and initiatives.\nWhat You Will Have\nExperience with Cisco ASA, Firepower and Fortigate firewalls, also Nexus and Catalyst switches.\nExperience with Azure networking solutions and integration with traditional WAN/LAN configuration.\nStrong understanding of both Network and Security principles including routing and switching protocols, fabric infrastructure, storage networking.\nExposure to Cisco Wireless LAN solutions, particularly Meraki.\nIn-depth knowledge of network security best practices.\nBe self-motivated, tenacious, disciplined, enthusiastic and resilient\nExcellent communication verbal and written, being able to operate at all levels and articulate messages to a variety of different audiences.
