The Portfolio Manager will work closely with Legal Services, Product Management, Engineering, Operations, and Internal and External Business Stakeholders while providing leadership and support to Project Managers responsible for delivering individual projects.\nThis position plays a critical role in ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic business outcomes.\nWhat You Will Do\nPortfolio Leadership & Delivery\nLead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex programmes consisting of multiple related projects and workstreams.\nDefine programme scope, objectives, success criteria, and delivery roadmaps.\nEstablish programme governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and delivery frameworks.\nEnsure alignment of programme activities with Legal Services and broader organisational strategic objectives.\nDrive accountability across project teams to achieve programme milestones and benefits realization.\nWorkstream Coordination\nManage and coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams, including:IQ Legal implementation projects\nBusiness process and workflow transformation\nSystem integrations\nProduct and platform enhancements\nOrganisational change and adoption activities\n\nIdentify and manage interdependencies across projects and business functions.\nProactively address programme-wide risks, issues, and constraints.\nProduct Release & Integration Management\nCoordinate product release schedules across multiple projects and delivery teams.\nWork with Legal Services, Engineering, Product Management and operational stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and adoption of solutions.\nOversee integration activities between IQ Legal platforms and other systems.\nEnsure readiness of business users through appropriate planning, testing, communication and enablement activities.\nStakeholder Management\nBuild strong relationships with senior stakeholders across Legal Services, Technology, Operations, Product, and Business functions.\nFacilitate effective communication and decision-making across programme governance forums.\nProvide regular programme status updates, executive reporting, and escalation management.\nManage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout programme delivery.\nProject Management Leadership\nProvide guidance, support, and mentoring to Project Managers within the programme.\nEnsure consistency in project delivery methodologies, tools, standards and reporting.\nChampion best practices in programme and project management.\nSupport resource planning, prioritisation, and workload balancing across projects.\nFinancial & Resource Management\nDevelop and manage programme budgets and forecasts.\nMonitor programme financial performance and report on budget utilisation.\nCoordinate resource planning across projects and workstreams.\nEnsure efficient allocation of resources to meet programme objectives.\nRisk, Governance & Compliance\nEstablish and maintain programme-level risk and issue management processes.\nEnsure compliance with organisational governance, security, and regulatory requirements.\nConduct programme reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives.\nDrive quality assurance across all programme deliverables.\nWhat You Will Have\nPlease note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application.\n\nQualifications & Experience\n\nRequired\nBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.\nSignificant experience managing large, complex programmes in a corporate or professional services environment.\nDemonstrated success delivering programmes comprising multiple projects and workstreams.\nStrong experience with project and programme governance frameworks.\nExperience coordinating cross-functional teams across technology, operations, and business functions.\nProven experience managing executive stakeholders and governance boards.\nExperience managing programme budgets, risks, and resource planning.\nPreferred\nExperience working within Legal Services, Legal Operations, Professional Services, or highly regulated environments.\nProgramme management certification such as:MSP (Managing Successful Programmes)\nPgMP (Program Management Professional)\nPMP (Project Management Professional)\nPRINCE2 Practitioner\n\nExperience with Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery methodologies.\nFamiliarity with Legal technology platforms and workflow automation solutions.\nKnowledge, Skills & Competencies\nLeadership\nStrong leadership and
