This role supports day-to-day operations by maintaining facility standards and addressing maintenance issues in a timely manner. \n\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nAlways be compliant with all company and regulatory policies and procedures. \nPerform preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and facilities (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting, safety systems, etc.). \nEnsure grounds are free of trash and debris. \nRespond to work orders and emergency maintenance requests promptly. \nConduct regular inspections of facilities to identify safety hazards, maintenance needs, and compliance issues. \nAssist with basic carpentry, painting, flooring, and general building repairs. \nMaintain grounds, including snow removal, lawn care, and minor landscaping as needed. \nEnsure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies. \nCollaborate with external vendors or contractors when specialized repairs are required. \nDocument maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections in logs or work order systems.\nTeam Member Expectations:\nMust be compliant with company and regulatory policies and procedures. \nPreserve and protect the privacy, confidentiality and security of all medical records, proprietary and other confidential information relating to Beacon Specialized Living, its Individuals, Team Members, activities and affiliates, in accordance with all applicable laws (especially HIPAA) and contract terms. \nPromote Beacon in a positive manner and lead by example, modeling our core values in everyday behavior. \nMonitors and corrects employee gossip, harassment, favoritism, and other negative social workplace behaviors to ensure a positive and productive work environment. \nUnderstand how to approach and communicate with everyone at all levels. \nTreat everyone with dignity and respect while responding to their needs. \nMaintain and sustain a safe community environment and workplace. \nApply trauma-Informed Care principals recognizing the presence of trauma symptoms and acknowledging the role trauma may play in an individual’s life. \nPromote trauma-informed care at all levels of the organization and help create a culture that is sensitive to the feelings of our Individuals and avoid responding negatively to stigmas that they will never truly understand. \nFollow Beacon’s policies, procedures, and manuals. \nCooperates with Beacon Specialized Living, the Department of Human Services (DHS) staff or any other regulatory body during any inspection, investigation or inquiry. \nAccept other duties as assigned.\nProfessional Conduct and Management Effectiveness:\nIn addition to evaluating your work performance you will be evaluated for the following work behaviors: \nJob Knowledge: Depth and breadth of knowledge supporting our organization goals. \nQuality of Work: Freedom from errors and mistakes, timeliness.
