Candidates who do not hold a current BACB RBT certification will not be considered for employment.\n\nBeacon is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Registered Behavior Technicians to provide behavioral support services to children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Severe Mental Illness, and high-acuity behavioral needs.\n\nAs an RBT, you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized Behavior Support Plans and help individuals develop communication, social, adaptive living, and behavioral skills that improve their quality of life.\n\nSchedule Options\nCandidates may choose one of the following schedules:\nOption 1\nFive (5) 8-hour shifts per week\nOption 2\nFour (4) 10-hour shifts per week\nScheduling Requirements\nAll shifts begin at 12:00 PM\nMust work at least one weekend shift every week\n\nRequired Qualifications\nNon-Negotiable Requirements\nCurrent Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nValid Driver's License\nReliable personal vehicle\nCurrent automobile insurance\nAbility to pass all required background checks\nProficient in speaking, reading, and writing English\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working in high-acuity behavioral health environments\nExperience supporting individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or severe behavioral challenges\nExperience implementing behavior intervention plans\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite\n\nEssential Responsibilities\nImplement individualized Behavior Support Plans under the supervision of a BCBA\nTeach and reinforce communication, social, daily living, and adaptive skills using evidence-based practices\nCollect, document, and report behavioral and skill acquisition data accurately\nUtilize de-escalation techniques and behavior intervention strategies safely and effectively\nCollaborate with BCBAs, clinical staff, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure treatment consistency\nMaintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements\nParticipate in ongoing supervision, training, and professional development\nFollow all company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards\nSupport a trauma-informed approach to care\nAssist with assessments, incident reporting, and compliance-related activities as needed\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nSuccessful candidates will demonstrate:\nStrong communication and documentation skills\nExcellent organizational and time-management abilities\nAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team\nProfessionalism, reliability, and sound judgment\nCompassion, patience, and respect for the individuals we serve\nCommitment to Beacon's core values of Integrity, Compassion, Advocacy, Respect, and Excellence\n\nWork Environment\nThis position may be performed in residential homes, day programs, community settings, or other service locations.
