The omission of an essential function does not preclude management from assigning duties not listed herein, if such functions are a logical assignment to the position.\nBy telephone and other approved communication methods (emails, text, flyers), contacts eligible blood donors and recruits them to donate regularly\nProvides excellent customer service at all times; establishes rapport with donors and potential donors, and educates them on the organization’s programs and services\nEnters donor information into the electronic database and utilizes various methods for appointment reminders\nComplies with and maintains current knowledge and understanding of Donor Recruitment policies, procedures and other related regulations\nAssists in stabilizing and maintaining blood donation inventory levels.\nQualifications\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:\nHigh School diploma or equivalent.\nCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND DESIGNATIONS:\nNone\nKNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS:\nAbility to communicate effectively orally and in writing, and comfortable speaking with donors on the phone\nAbility to meet pre-defined monthly metrics related to outreach calls, appointments confirmed, booking accuracy, and show rates; eligible to earn a monthly incentive award based upon goal achievements\nAbility to follow oral and written instructions\nAbility to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work\nAbility to speak, write, read, and understand English\nSkill in operating office equipment\nBasic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and database software navigation \nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
